Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the October 25 edition of Rocky 104.9's weekly local music program, "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 9 to 11 PM during Steelers football season.

It was our annual Halloween Special edition, where we shined the spotlight on bands and songs with a Halloween flavor. That included our in-studio guests this week, singer Jeff Pittinger and drummer Carl Berry of Williamsport hard-rockers White Witch (www.whitewitchrocks.com). (Thanks again to Chris and The Underground Television for providing the studio for the interview!) Jeff and Carl reported the latest White Witch happenings, and we heard tracks from the group’s two CD’s, The Power and Never Dies the Dream. We also dug into the local music archive to pull out a Halloween-themed 1988 song by Bashful for a “Local Music Flashback!”

We’ll also update Local Music News, feature music from a past band for a Local Music Flashback, and review Flux Capacitor’s They Know We Know CD in “The Professor’s CD Corner.” Ken Gray returns to the “Homegrown Rocker” this Sunday night!
