had enough... anyone else???
my job allows me to listen to the radio from 6:30am to 3:00 pm every day...which is great, except for tyrone/altoonas only rock station (104.9) plays the same songs every day....or at least the same artists multiple times a day......it seems like you are guaranteed a 40 minute rock block every hour that will include seether, nickleback, or godsmack.....now granted theyre good bands... but repitition gets old really quick... for example between 6:30 and noon today....i heard 3 creed songs.....with such a vast category classified as rock, why does we have to hear the same 9-10 bands all day? tommy and danice are cool, but i can see an XM in my future.....anyone else noticed this pattern or allready made the switch?
p.s. sorry for the long post....just needed to vent to someone other than my supervisor who wouldnt care if it was 8 hours of hall and oates

104.9 also knows that you are allowed to listen to them at work. In order to keep you from "clock watching", they have an agreement with your employer to play the same band each day at given times so that you know when to go on break, when to go to lunch, when to come back from lunch and when its time to leave for the day.
I know this because my previous employer had the same agreement with Q94 before they went country.
This results in productivity gains. It is a win-win-win situation for all.

"Death has come to your little town."
You guys *have* a station that plays something other than country where you live?
It's only a matter of time before forever broadcasting buys that up and shoves another country ding dong in your ears.
