I couldn't tell you how many times I seen a screaming kid in walmart. Half the time the parent does nothing about it. They run around and wreck the store and the mother just stands there and watches them ....

Here's what I usually do . . . .I say hi to the child and start a conversation . . . .usually they are so shocked that a stranger is talking to them, they stop crying. Most of the time they look at me like, 'why is this person talking to me?" But they stop crying or doing whatever they aren't supposed to. Sometimes the parent is annoyed by this and will yank them by the arm and be like, "come on Johnny." Overall I avoid WalMart but this works in any store.

I'd need more details to make an accurate judgement here...... But, being the kid was 2 the man may have been wrong. However the 5 and 6 year olds that have no respect for the parents and act like little brats should get slapped by a complete stranger to make them realize the world isn't gonna put up with your shit. ( Slapping the parents would help too

I usually wanna slap the parent a lot more than the kid! I've had kids move out of the way in fear, or use at least mild manners, where I have parents just totally ignore whatever I'm doing, ESPECIALLY if they're in the way!

I remember while pulling a skid a month or 2 ago, this woman and her kids were roaming around. The kids were roaming around on their own most of the time, which would make someone pulling skids a little nervous... But then, a little while later, this woman looks RIGHT AT ME while I'm pulling a skid past the aisle (which was already crowded), and almost walks her cart RIGHT into me!!! I mean she looks right at me, and just pushes it STRAIGHT out the aisle, almost T-boning me! She had the whole "Lights on, but noone home" look too, like she just totally ignored the fact that if she hits me, A) I'll probably go down, and B) the skid I'm pulling is going to run over me! (Thinking about it, that sounds like it would've been funny, albeit painful...) Several others told me she's been doing all kinds of shit ALL NIGHT! And with a cell phone in her hand, and with kids running amuck as well!

Yeah... You think you wanna slap some of the parents? I wanted to go down to the assembly racks, find a hammer, and just go APESHIT!!!
