Fender HR deluxe

I was playing through my Fender HRD tonight and the damn thing took a crap..AKA damn near all volume lost even when cranked it washardly making a sound with the guitar plugged in... Anyone have an idea what may be going on with it??.. I tried changing tubes and thats not working..

You were playing guitar -> amp, no effect units or anything? Take out of the chain as much as you can, try a new chord, try a new guitar.


I was about to freak out one night when setting up with the hurricanes and pat pointed out I had the cab plugged into the Ext Speaker jack :roll:

straight from my strat into the amp and trie more than one cable, checked the fuse check speaker connection.

Could be any number of things in the signal chain, as simple as a bad resistor, or as big as transformer problems. Get thee to an authorized Fender dealer/repair facility. :) Or K.O. --->JMS
