Hello Everyone,
Here is the recap of the January 5 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.
Our first show of 2003 was a keeper, as we were joined in the studio by Clearfield County’s “attitudinally-challenged” power trio, Roadkill. Outspoken frontman/bassist/megalomaniac Greg, guitarist Sean and drummer “Teach” (battling a gastric bug and positioned near the studio door in case he had to quickly exit to run across the hall, lol) discussed their latest CD offering, “Three Chords & the Truth;” and their career and outlook on 2003. We heard tracks from the CD, and several lucky listeners won CD’s and T-shirts. And as expected, Greg sounded off on a number of topics, including his bandmates, women, Santa Claus, “Teach’s” gastric bug and more. It was a wild, insane and fun two hours!
Also along the way, we premiered new music from Foundry Avenue, Adrian Blitzer, Seventh Hour, The Chads and Judgement, and flashed back to 1996 to hear Rude Dawg’s “Backstage Ladies.”
The playlist:
HOUR ONE:
DAVE BLACKLEDGE – “I Got A Life, But It Sucks”
DIRTY DOGZ – “I’ll Do Anything”
ROADKILL – “The Adam Stomp”
FOUNDRY AVENUE – “Rollercoaster”
ROADKILL – “Fifth on the Fourth of July”
ADRIAN BLITZER – “Nobody’s Home”
ROADKILL – “Lost In The Woods”
SEVENTH HOUR – “Incurable”

THE MARAUDERS – “New Tattoo”
ROADKILL – “Mr. Fish”

RUDE DAWG – “Backstage Ladies” (1996, Local Music Flashback)
