Classic Rock/Metal bassist available

Post by Fast_Theo »

I have been playing the bass for eight years, the last year of which was spent with a blues/funk/soul band based in Johnstown. However, I have always been a classic rock/metal player, and I'm looking to get back into playing the heavier side of things again. My influences include players like Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy), Steve Harris (Iron Maiden), Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), Jimmy Bain (Rainbow/Dio), and Roger Glover (Deep Purple)...to name a few. Not surprisingly, my favorite bands include Rainbow, Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Helloween, and so on.

My primary focus is on joining/starting a band that focuses on the heavier side of rock and roll, but I would be willing to play other music if there are steady shows and dates available. I have the equipment and the desire, I just need a group of like-minded people to complete the picture.

If interested, please reply to this message, send me an email at Fast_Theo@yahoo.com, or visit my myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/391112194.

Check Him Out !

Post by zildjianK »

This guy knows what he is doing. He knows what it takes to create/maintain a successful band. I'm a drummer, and I've played with him several times to say the least. Do yourself a favor and get in touch with him. See what happens...

Thanks for the kind words. I should also say that if anyone is looking for a drummer, they should drop ZildjianK a line. He's a very talented drummer who's studied under one of the very best, plus he's got a keen sense for the business/marketing side of things.

I like alot of the bands you have listed. It's kind of rare to hear someone who likes those particular bands.
I have some things in the works right now, so hopefully something will happen this time around...

I havent talked to you for a little while...just wondering how you are making out with your search, and if you found people already.

There's a few ads on here that I am sizing up, because I want to make sure I'll be happy with a situation before I commit, so I don't leave someone hanging.
Also have a few random people who might be interested in putting something together from scratch.

I'd like to talk to you a little bit more about things, so if you want give me a call this weekend, when I have time to talk in detail.
