Seether does Wham??

Post by Trucula »

This is the second time I heard this, first was when they broke it out on Harrisburg station.

Allot will still relate it to the original and will hate it because of George Michaels. But I think if you never heard it you'd like this version. The DJs daughter thought it was a new song. (but she is 14).

I like it this version, I think he does the vocals justice. WARNING!!! ITS NOT METAL!!!!...I know the headbangers won't like it and will destroy the thread. But I do give ALL styles a chance or two!

Wow... I always knew someone was gonna put an edge on this song for years... I just didn't think Seether was gonna do it. But, I like it! This song was always rather powerful in my eyes to begin with. I'm no big fan of Seether at all, but I've gotta give em kudos for this. I just didn't like the ending part for some reason. Not right with the song or something

i think it's a pretty cool cover. i like it when bands do this kinda thing. where they take a song that was a decent song to begin with and make it sound more modern, and as naga said, puts a new edge on it. seether kicks ass.

Cool! I can hear it in my head now ... always thought George Michael wrote some good tunes both in Wham! and his solo stuff.

Seether rocks so it oughta be good!
