Our leaders in Cambria County are asking for local citizens help on how to bring in more revenue and jobs to the area. They are having an open forum meeting at the Holiday Inn in Johnstown on Wednesday, February 11th from 7 PM to 9 PM. I plan on attending and asking local Restaraunt and Club owners as well as local musicians to also attend. I hope we can influence them enough to let them know that our industry, including local musicians, is being impacted because of our outdated liqour laws. I plan to talk about the lost revenue, the lost jobs, and the domino effect this is having on the local economy because of the liquor enforcement officers following these laws that were written in the 1950's. Until we ammend these laws and bring entertainment to the area to its fullest, we can't and won't attract young entrepreneurs and families to Cambria County and the surrounding area. Please join me as we continue to make our legislators understand our point. I am sorry to post this in the general discussion forum, but I believe it will catch more eyes here.
Thanks,
Steve Mattis

Tony,
I will be leaving the Country Inn to go down at 6:15 PM. If anyone would like to go with me, or follow me, they can meet me here at the Country Inn around 5:30 PM up until 6:00 PM. I would gladly enjoy all the company that would like to attend. Directions to the Country Inn are posted on our website at http://www.countryinnbar.com
Thanks,
Steve
