I was just coming to my own as a trumpet player after switching from piano 4 years earlier. And then there was that budding business in the fishing worm industry.Hawk wrote:What were you doing when you were eight years old ?

That kid should have a great career in front of him.

You mean, if he lays the hookers, and gets off on the booze and coke right?JackANSI wrote:..if he lays of the hookers, booze, and coke..lonewolf wrote:That kid should have a great career in front of him.

Laugh if you want to, really is kinda funny, 'cause the world is a car and you're the crash test dummy.

Ahh, Wisconsin has a similar law regarding minors performing in liquor-licensed establishments as Pennsylvania. You have to be 16 there, 18 here. That's the law that forced Halestorm to go out of state to perform several years ago, before drummer Arejay turned 18.And the state of Wisconsin is shutting him off.

Kid
He's got some abiltiy there. But Steve Lukather put it best when he said... "Somewhere on Youtube there's a fetus with more chops than anyone..." People have never played better than they have these days. They have all the chops in the world but no originality. Where's the next Hendrix or Van Halen? That's not to say the kid won't be the next great player, but it's been a long time since some one gave us something new...

Wow! That kid is amazing! There was a post on here with a young boy playing Ozzy also. What's up with these kids anymore? I think in our liftime we will see amazing things accomplished on instruments. It's not only guitar either, there are some amazing videos on youtube of young drummers too. When I was 7 or 8 I can honestly say that playing an instrument was the last thing on my mind. I wish that I grew up in a musical minded family, or even had the desire to learn at a younger age.
