That was awesome! Good for Rush. It just goes to show how far a lot of talent combined in one band will go. Thirty years of Rush- simply amazing.

If I could've been in any band throughout history, I think they'd be my #1 choice.

i agree moondoggystyle, rush is a great band. in my top 10 for sure buddy. i cant believe they arent in the rockandroll hall of fame? whats up with that nonsense by the way? they are one of the very best power trios since cream.

As much as I hate Colbert, I had to watch Rush. My personal top band period. Instead of the Rn'R Hall Of Fame, does anybody else remember the one mag interview that they said,"If Rolling Stone were to ask us to be on their cover now, we'd quit making music"? To me that shows they are in it for the music, not the fame, however much they deserve.

Rush is awesome! They have always stuck to their guns and you can tell they believe in what they are doing. Neil Peart's story is one amazing heartfelt trip... These guys are troopers and they are great guys...

Wow, when I read the title of this thread, I thought Rush Limbaugh was to appear on the Report. LOL. My brain immediately began to hurt.

i also thought this was gonna be limbaugh. kind of glad it wasnt, but i kind of wanted it to be limbaugh. im happy with any rush, whether it's the band, or the fat guy in the little coat.

Rush has been eligible to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame since 1999 but have been bypassed for many other musical artists. They have been in a list of groups such as Heart, Genesis, The Moody Blues, Deep Purple, Kansas, Kiss, Alice Cooper, Judas Priest, Jethro Tull, Journey, Styx, Foreigner, Emerson, Lake, & Palmer, Electric Light Orchestra, and many others who have been snubbed.

Rush are inducted in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame (1994), The Canada's Walk of Fame, and it was recently announced they will be in the 2009 Hollywood Walk of Fame list of celebrities.
