Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the November 2 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

Thanks to Halestorm for making the roadtrip in and again delivering a very memorable program! Band siblings/founders Lzzy and Arejay Hale, plus new members Joe Hottinger and Dave Hartley, discussed the band's rollercoaster ride over the past year, from losing members to picking up new members, hooking up with veteran producer David Ivory and manager Larry Mazer, and writing and recording new music. We heard several new Halestorm songs, including an exclusive Q94 debut of the new Halestorm original “Not Enough.” And with her trusty keyboard, Lzzy Hale sung two songs live in the studio as well! (Thanks to “Sparky the Engineer” for coming through with the right connector plug to put Lzzy's keyboard directly on air!)

Along the way, we also debuted new music from Funny Money, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Luca Brazi and Entity.

This coming Sunday, Nov. 9, we welcome the return of Meyersdale-based singer, songwriter and guitarist, Michael Reich. We'll hear songs from Michael's new album, “Who's Minding The Store?,” and Michael may perform a few live for us as well. Plus we'll get caught up on Michael's latest career happenings, get inside the music, and maybe even hear Michael's thoughts on those underachieving Steelers! Michael Reich returns to the “Backyard Rocker,” this Sunday night!
