This is tough because I know so many, it's hard to say without hurting any feeling but lets vote anyway.

Jeff Rittenhouse! Dont know if you know him, but he ran sound for Defiance back in 80-90s, and I am not sure who he runs for now, but he was the best around here as far as I am Concerned!
Lee Worthy does an awesome job too, He does Scream and others!
I dont do the bar scene anymore, so I am not sure who rocks the house these days!

I've had the chance to work with all of these engineers (we work with Chris, Greg, Zilly, and Alex on a regular basis) and they are all excellent technicians and great people!

Has he ever done the house gig at The Brewery? Last time I was there, there was this long-haired guy who had a slammin' mix. The band was pretty "meh," but the mix destroyed!Rich wrote:George Powell from State College... Or anyone that works for him.

Ritt is definitely the man... I hear he maintains some house systems now, and doesn't do the gigging thing anymore.
Otherwise, Zilly rules, Rockpage Ron does a fine job, and then... well, modesty prohibits, but I will say I don't do rock bands anymore... too loud, and very tiring on the ears for me. I'm old, man.------->JMS

Ray "Onetooloud" Buska has always treated us right. we had some tough nights at the door and he always met us halfway even though me never expected or asked him to do that that for us. good dude right there. Chad Straw is fantastic as well. your drums will sound like Vinnie Paul's. Kyle Mayket is an up and comer as well....

"bassist-25 and D.D."- More than likely that was one of Georges' systems. That might even be a "house" system of his. I'm not sure. And depending on when you were last at the Brewery. It might have been "Vern" doing sound. He was very good. He used to work with a band I was in every gig, usually. But sadly Vern moved away a few years ago.
I'd trust George on a bad day. Plus he's a great dude as well...
And Ritt as well. Never "worked" with him but know him. From living in Lewistown.
