Don't have it, but I've been seriously considering going to an audiologist to get a custom set of plugs made. We're pretty good with stage volume, but anything above 90 db can damage your hearing.

I once played in a band that gigged about every other week. We were playing at volumes which should have necessitated full FOH support instead of the vocal PA we used. After every gig, my ears had that plugged feeling you get when there is a huge wax build up, but I didn't have a wax build up. They'd finally start to to open up after a week or two, but by then it was another gig and the whole thing would start over again.

I don't have tinnitus per se, but I have substantial hearing loss in both ears, more so my left where the guitar players set up in the bands I was in. I probably should have worn some kind of protection, but hind sight is 20/20 and now I'm paying for my mistake. Hopefully I won't be that crotchety old grandpa that's like "Hey pap, time to eat....what? (chew my dentures).....huh? (chew my dentures some more)......what?....awwwww.(throw my hands up in disgust)...

Substantial hearing loss in left ear from 20 years worth of weekends with a crash cymbal 2 ft away from it.

Hate to the first dick in this thread, but I've worn plugs since the beginning. While I'm thankful to still hear great, I do have slight tinnitis. Random bouts of ringing. It's like being near an older tv. Pretty much every band I'm in, I'm the only one who wears them. And they're not quiet ones either.

Hearing loss for sure, some ringing from time to time.

If Shel and I are shopping or something and she starts talking to me, should she be in front of me, even slightly, I can't hear her.

That's what she said.

I've lost about 50% in each ear, and I get tinnitus on a regular basis. I gave up on earplugs, I just lose too much of what I've got left when I wear them.

I do have tinnitus, but I wear earplugs to 90% of everything that I attend anymore. It doesn't matter if I'm playing or just watching. I'd like to be able to hear.

I've been going to shows for 27 years or so, (most of the time standing right in front of the speakers, lol) and I definitely have some hearing loss. No ringing, but I HATE it when somebody tries to talk to me when there's alot of background noise. I mostly just end up nodding and smiling. :? So if you see me at a show and talk to me while the band is playing, I'm NOT stupid or stuck up, I'm just hearing every other word or so...

I don't have any hearing loss, but my lead singer has tinnitus. His ears ring constantly, he said if he's wearing ear plugs it's pretty annoying. He was fine when we were using floor monitors, but when we switched to IEM's he would turn the volume up on this belt pack instead of adding more of himself to his mix. I can't stand to have the volume any higher than 5, some nights he had it on 10. Now he's paying the price for it.
Pour me another one, cause I'll never find the silver lining in this cloud.

I have some mild tinnitus, I only notice it when there's dead silence. I havn't noticed any hearing loss, but I wouldn't count on it.
Stand back, I like to rock out.

Moderate tinnitus only I drink coffee or am very tired. I did have my hearing checked a couple of months ago and I have a moderate hearing loss.
