BREAKIN BENJAMIN SHOW!!!!!!
BREAKIN BENJAMIN SHOW!!!!!!
JUST WANTED TO HEAR EVERYONES THOUGHTS THAT WENT TO THE BRYCE JORDAN LAST NIGHT TO SEE NEVERSET, SEETHER, THREE DAYS GRACE, AND BREAKING BENJAMIN. I THOUGHT IT WAS A GREAT SHOW. DONT REMEMBER THE GUYS NAME, BUT THE GUY WHO COME OUT AND SANG CHANGE - BY THE DEFTONES WAS FUCKING AMAZING. THREE DAYS GRACE REALLY DIDNT IMPRESS ME AS MUCH AS I WAS HOPING FOR. IT WAS MY FIRST TIME SEEING SEETHER AND I MUST SAY I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THEM. I'VE SEEN THEM SEVERAL TIMES ALREADY BUT BREAKING BENJAMIN ONCE AGAIN PUT ON A GREAT SHOW.

It was Shaun Morgan from Seether that came out and sang Change by the Deftones, he was being backed up by ben. I thought the show was incredible, and i dont think any band really lacked. Neverset was a headache to listen to cuz all that guy did was scream high pitched rap metal. Seether smoked, i really liked Adam's cover of Rooster, and seether/breaking benjamin did an awesome cover of Change. I thought ben burnley was on fire as far as vocals and stage presence was concerned, but they all put on a great show, except for neverset, you couldnt pay me to take their cd. they were just annoying.
Where was everyone at? I was directly across from the stage in the first row of seats. I had a great view of the whole stage (wish i would have been in general admission though).
I always get psyched going to concerts like that, and seeing people that I always listen to on the radio or cd's jamming out right in front of me.

Breaking Benjamin Should cover anything well.
They won some MTV coverbands thing when they were called "Strangers with candy" Then they did some nu-metal thing that was a day late and a buck short of the bandwagon. Looks like they hit the Corporate rock thing right on time though. Can't wait til they start playin pop-country.
Sorry but these guys make nickleback look like soulful artists.

I guess its not cool unless the whole song is "GWAAAAA, ROOOOOH, BWAAAAA BWWWAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAA YOWWWWWW!!!!!" I mean seriously, understanding a song without having to read the lyrics (which dont match the song) is so overrated...DirtySanchez wrote:Breaking Benjamin Should cover anything well.

They paid their dues, played their gigs, became a well enough known ORIGINAL band to make it big and sell platinum records to the masses and not just one target market, and they still aren't talented enough? Am I missing something?
YA I HAD A GREAT TIME. WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH EVERY BAND THERE BESIDES NEVERSET. THEY REALLY DIDN'T IMPRESS ME MUCH. BUT YA I HAD GREAT SEATING VERY CLOSE TO THE STAGE. I THINK I SEEN ROB THERE ON MY WAY TO THE BATHROOM ON ONE OF THE BREAKS JUST DIDN'T WANNA WALK UP AND INTRODUCE MYSELF AND HIM BE LIKE WHO THE F--K ARE YOU LOL. ALSO SEEN BUTCH FROM FLORD THERE AND SPOKE TO HIM FOR A BIT.

Could you please show me exactly where I said they had no talent?bassist4life2004 wrote:I guess its not cool unless the whole song is "GWAAAAA, ROOOOOH, BWAAAAA BWWWAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAA YOWWWWWW!!!!!" I SAID THEY WON A TALENT SHOW!!!! I said they had no soul. They jumped the bandwagon twice since they were a coverband. That's all.
So yeah, you're missing alot. and please don't start busting on punk/metal in general cuz I don't like a band that you do. Because if
six feet under was selling platinum, you'd be all over their dicks and playing "war machine" acoustically at the foxburg tavern. DO YOU GET IT NOW!!! I don't like them. They are Fake ass bitches (with talent). You can still like them, but is it okay if I don't? Really!?!

No, you must succumb ...DirtySanchez wrote:You can still like them, but is it okay if I don't? Really!?!
I dig some of BB's stuff, but I'm sorta biased to "local" bands in general. When BB was Plan 9 (prior to "making it"), I got the chance to check them out with mutual friends, LiQuid A. They were pretty good then, too.

That's what she said.

My kid went and had an great time! (I didn't really see my kid much to ask how it was). Some drunk guy tried to do a stage dive or something in front of my kid and no one else saw it!! Finally the EMT's cane an took him away.
I think a 15 yar old is just hapy to be at a concert. So it's all gonna sound good to them!

bb show
i went to this show because my son loves BB . and other than seether taking 2
to 3 min between songs i thought it was an overall good show.it was like they didnt have a set list !!! hehehe !!! been there " now what are we doin".
seether was good but you shouldn't do covers of the band you are opening for in my opinon .
3 days grace preformed well i thought . all of these bands were well rehearsed and got the crowed involved.i liked the 3 days grace guy shining the light across the jordon center. as far as BB i think you can tell these guys were at one time a bar band simply by the non booze refrence . and the drummer /band doing partial covers from metalica.
none of these bands have the greatest guitar players ,bass players drummers or singers in them yet they put out music that people like and relate to hmmmmm!!! maybe they are on to something ?

Re: bb show
I thought that was probably one of the coolest things ive seen a band do to get the crowd involved. Simple, yet effective. I'd try that at the foxburg some night during an acoustic show but i would probably blind people and get booed out. haha5stringlowb wrote:.i liked the 3 days grace guy shining the light across the jordon center.

Are we fighting? lol I was apologizing for not reading that dudes post.
I didn't read it because it looks like a clusterfuck, and I did not feel like deciphering the horrible mess. So, once again; I'm Sorry. xoxoxo
