3 rugrats(all upcoming drummers) a wife, a band, a job, 12 credits at PSU and a few websites to tend to, patients is a virtue..... so is sleep.
Actually, we used the tabs from drum data base to get him examples of the different beats he has to play to try out.

blues= http://www.drumsdatabase.com/index.htm#Blues
bossa nova= http://www.drumsdatabase.com/index.htm#BOSSA%20NOVA
swing= http://www.drumsdatabase.com/index.htm#SWING
jazz= http://www.drumsdatabase.com/index.htm#JAZZ
rock= http://www.drumsdatabase.com/index.htm#ROCK

The sheet music he is going to use is here "I want to hold your hand"
http://homepages.wmich.edu/~c1li/I%20wa ... 20hand.gif

there is also "We can work it out" and "Hotel California" located here
http://homepages.wmich.edu/~c1li/score.htm
Depending on your computers settings, when you go to the links for the sheet music, it is saved as an image file, some computers you have to enlarge the view to print it properly.

I am in the process of building a web directory of drumming, If anybody has some good drum links, or their own drumming page, send me the URL at bongoedlongo@yahoo.com
I would also like to include a section of local drummers, you know, bio, what your kit consists of, what band do you play for maybe a pic or 2 etc
once i get the index up, i'll post and ask for submissions.

thanx for posting, thanx for reading.
