Lets all get together and play!!

I have seen numerous bands and musicians in the classifieds, looking to play but can't find other musicians to build a band, or bands coming from areas that are not very supportive when it comes to the music scene, like myself, it is hard to find places to play. Lets all get together, even if it takes a few weeks to complete the series. First bands to sign up get first spots regardless of whether or not you have a demo. We could make solo artist welcome and then solo artist who want to build bands can come meet one another. Bands who have access to playing locations(gigs) may see bands that they think would compliment them in an act. Who knows? I understand that gigs aren't always easy to get, and you don't want to just give anyone opening acts because you worked very hard to get to that point. But at the same time, why not help others who may be great musicians but do not have the contacts? We could probably get sponsors and possibly even raise money for a charity or a good common cause for the PA music scene !!!
