IT'S A COMIN'!!! Three strangers strike up a conversation in the airport passenger lounge in Bozeman, Montana, while awaiting their respective flights. One is an American Indian passing through from Lame Deer. Another is a Cowboy on his way to Billings for a livestock show & the third passenger is a fundamentalist Arab student, newly arrived at Montana State University from the Middle East Their discussion drifts to their diverse cultures. Soon, the two Westerners learn that the Arab is a devout, radical Muslim and the conversation falls into an uneasy lull. The cowboy leans back in his chair, crosses his boots on a magazine table and tips his big sweat-stained hat forward over his face. The wind outside is blowing tumbleweeds around, and the old windsock is flapping; but still no plane comes. Finally, the American Indian clears his throat and softly he speaks, 'At one time here, my people were many, but sadly, now we are few.' The Muslim student raises an eyebrow and leans forward, 'Once my people were few,' he sneers, 'and now we are many. Why do you suppose that is?' The Montana cowboy shifts his toothpick to one side of his mouth and from the darkness beneath his Stetson says in a smooth drawl . . 'That's 'cause we ain't played Cowboys and Muslims yet, but I do believe it's a-comin'.

Whether something is right or wrong, it can be funny. Racism,mental retardation, physical handicaps. I've laughed at jokes about all. If racism wasn't funny 12348776235 black comedians would have zero material.

Sanchez and Lifer pretty much summed it up the best themselves, but I'm going to just add this... and let you take it for what it's worth...

Those of you on here know who you are... but you "people", are why I am so ashamed, and embarassed to be an American citizen. The fact that fear, hatred, and total bigotry run so rampant in this fucking country makes me want to cry a million tears of blood for our people. In the country, the simplest thing you can attain (maybe not the cheapest... but it should be) is an education. With this education -- I would hope you would learn that America was, is, and will forever be one continuous melting pot of cultures, races, religions, creeds, and other things of that nature. In fact, unless you are 100% American Indian -- you are NOT native to this land... the fact that this is common knowledge, yet we have such fucking hatred for people of different races/beliefs in this country absolutely dumbfounds me.

I just cannot believe that in the rest of the world -- people can accept other people with absolute ease. Yes, racism exists worldwide (it's growing in Europe) and it's a shame... but it's also an isolated shame, and in most cases it's brought on by hundreds of years of bad blood between nations. I just cannot believe that the United States is the absolute exception to the worldwide standard. You don't think this is true? onetooloud's post on here spoke WELL ENOUGH as to the fact that this is true. You still refuse to believe it? Go back in the past 2 weeks and watch the news, read every newspaper... and you will see that Race is still an issue and stupid people still exist. I just cannot believe that people would just REFUSE to open their mind and take a fucking look outside of their shallow existence, to see that what the rest of the world provides, is beautiful and to be shared by all... in mind, body, and soul.

I cannot change you people... only you can do that, but now you know exactly why I am so fucking ashamed to be lumped into the same category as you morons!

Racism begins when you stop judging their character for who they are as a person.

Racism is going to be the end of the world.

My reasons for not liking that joke is because it could look like I support the war, patriotism, or even our government. For me to laugh at that, I would feel like I'm contributing to the war, patriotism, our government even in the minutest way.

Well I asked for an explaination and got a sound reasonable explaination.

However the joke claims that the person in the joke is a radical. What does that mean to everyone else? The individual in the joke even was said to have sneared when he spoke.

The joke seems to be aimed directly at terrorists.
