Jacksonville or Pittsburgh?

Post by xero380 »

What's everyone's outcome of this game?

I'm not going to really look into it too much as I always do but will go with the Pittsburgh boys...

23 STEELERS

21 JACKSONVILLE

As beat up as the Steelers are right now, I'm not feeling great, I gotta be honest.

However, when Jax was in the division, they'd always split with Pittsburgh so in light of that, I'll make the following optimistic prediction:

Pittsburgh — 21

Jackoffville — 20

Go Stillers!

Happened in Week 15:

Jacksonville - 29
Pittsburgh - 22

Now, without Willie Parker... and a banged up staff... Pittsburgh will be lucky to only lose by 7

Jacksonville - 35
Pittsburgh - 10

Keep in mind that if Polamalu doesn't play in that earlier Jacksonville contest, Jacksonville wins that game by two more touchdowns. I think the Steelers are too banged up to make a deep run into the playoffs, but I think they'll be better prepared for Jacksonville this time.

Perhaps there will be poetic justice and Fred Taylor will break a toe on the Steelers bad turf early in the game...

I think the Steelers will step it up for the playoffs. They played very badly in the first game and didn't lose by a big margin. The Jag-offs are going to be playing a different Steeler team.

Too funny.

Look, I really don't know who's going to win, but without Willie and the injuries they have, plus Jax playing well and having beaten them only a few weeks ago, it's gonna be awful tough for the Squealers to win. But you guys are such a bunch of homers it cracks me up.

Gotta love the fans, though. ;)

And I told you guys I was jinxing the Browns. Damnit. :x

Eh - fugeddaboudit.

Homers ... D'oh!

Hey, gotta stand behind them until the season's over. Point is, the season's not over yet, and as a certain sixth-seed team proved two years ago, anything is possible.

Still, I won't be blindsided if the Jags win Saturday, but, as Berman says, this is why they play the games.

Go Squealers!

For those of you who know me, you know what my answer is. The Steelers suck and always will. Go Jacksonville.

Jax - 28
Pit - 3

I'm not a fan of either team, but I don't think the Steelers can beat Jacksonville. Without Parker, the Steelers will be one dimensional.
Pour me another one, cause I'll never find the silver lining in this cloud.

Pittsburgh 13

The Steelers are way too injured to win this one, I think. I've become a Steelers fan over the years, but a realistic one. Big Ben, Polamaulu, Ward all gimpy and playing injured, massive losses on the O-Line, Aaron Smith out for the year, and Willie Parker out mean J-Ville wins this one.

I dont really even care. I just want these damn bowl games to be over and the NFL to be back on. I like games where the players can pass, recieve, run, and the plays arent either all or nothing.
Laugh if you want to, really is kinda funny, 'cause the world is a car and you're the crash test dummy.

Hmmmm ... I'd hate to see how big the trophy case at Heinz Field would need to be if the Steelers didn't suck so bad.

Yeah, I guess it would be difficult to come up with a design to cram all those Lombardis on one ring ...

Probably 'cuz the Steelers have so many championships to put on that one ring.

do they really need to put all those lombardis on a ring, though? I mean... it's nice to recognize number five... but nobody on that current roster was involved with any of the previous 4... I don't know, maybe it's just me. But the design is hideous

..except for the Rooneys. I dig the ring personally.
