Thanks from The Nightcrawlers....

Post by nightcrawler_steve »

Friends,

It’s been an amazing ride the past four years! For those of you who dont know, The Nightcrawlers will be going their seperate ways after our last show on New Years Eve at the Phyrst. The Phyrst is the place where things really took off for us, so it is a fitting end for us to play our last show. It should prove to be a very special, fun and emotional night.

It is difficult to even put into words the gratitude we feel towards everyone who has supported us over the years. So much so, that we’re not even going to try until a later date.

This is NOT an unhappy ending for the band....we are parting as family!

Though it may be the end of the Nightcrawlers band, it is a new beginning for some of our members. Noah and Aeb are moving to Los Angeles to further pursue their musical career and we are very happy for them and wish them the best of luck!

There is a possibility of a reunion for Arts Festival 2008, but nothing set in stone. We will keep everyone informed.

But enough of all that.....we still have a few shows left and we hope to see you at some of them :o)

Thanks again to all of our wonderful friends and the memories we have all shared together. Happy Holidays and have a great New Year. We hope to see you soon!

Much love!!!!
The Nightcrawlers.

Sad news to be sure, Grimm was lucky enough to have shared the Peter C's stage a long time ago with The Nightcrawlers and it was an honor, I can tell you from experience gang never say never, Good Luck.

Talent and class, all of the way! I wish Noah and Aeb the best of luck in their journey. Steve, you'll never be out of a gig with your drum chops, killer vocal harmonies, and great personality.

It's been a joy seeing, listening to and writing about The Nightcrawlers over the past few years. A unique sound, quality musicianship, and dazzling performances every time!

Best of luck to Noah and Aeb out west, and to everybody in their future endeavors.

I'm hoping to make it to one of the final Phyrst shows, probably the 27th.

I think it would be great if Noah and Aeb "make it" out on the left coast. It would kinda like they are representing central Pa. for all of us. Let them know there is some great talent in this area.

If anyone evers hears about them and their musical careers, please post on rockpage to let us all know.

I echo Bob's statements....The Grimm also shared the stage with the Nightcrawlers for a Rockpage Jam at the Railroader's museum, where I was fortunate enough to sit in on an improv session with the gang. What a class act of top-notch talent! "African Echo" remains as one of my all-time favorite local compositions!

Best of luck to you all and thanks for the great music along the way!

Thanks EVERYONE for the kind words and encouragement. Sorry I didnt reply sooner, but I have been off work since the 21st. Happy New Year to everyone as well.

The last shows were simply amazing....we had 400 plus at the Phyrst for our last show New Years Eve! What a send off! It was an emotional night for everyone. I'll post some pictures when we get them all together or post a link if anyone would like to see them.

Id like to send an extra special thanks to JP for all of his support the last 4 years. We are lucky to have someone who cares so much about our scene here in Central PA. Its also been a pleasure sharing the stage with several of the rockpage bands and Im happy to have made some friends along the way :)

Keep on a rockin everyone in whatever music feeds your soul and may the new year be a good one for everyone, fans and musicians alike!

All the best to ya.........

Steve
