Ever find an old book of lyrics and shit youve forgotten about? What do you think of the stuff when you look back at it?

I just found an old book today. Think I should get commited.

usually i think it sucks, most of it. you'll probobly find one or two that might have some potential. usually i write out of stressfull times and it seems to help pull me through just by writing about it instead of carrying it around in my head. but then its a new day and then i think, man does that suck, you fuckin looser  .

I know exactly what you mean Colton. I found 6 notebooks full of lyrics and poems and they are 10 years old. I dated every page, and I still do that, but I haven't been writing much lately.
I need to get back into it, but right now I'm just trying to piece together riffs.

I found some Cassette tapes of me playing from around the same time.
Now that was funny. I can't really even listen to the butchering guitar parts, and they were my own. But at the time I thought it was good.
It's always nice to reflect on where you were at any given time once in a while.
Makes you think back and wonder how you got where you are.

I hate a lot of that stuff too!!!

It is kind of embarrassing to read stuff that you've written from a couple years ago. I always cringe a little bit when I read something that I had written back in high school. I was a pretty "emo" kid back then...luckily, I had better hair than most emo kids.

What did you smudge out under Windows 95? Was it incriminating?

And what do you have against brokenstrings? He does get involved in some mild flame war action from time to time but he seems like an OK dude.
