Was about to play a one time show in a club that NEVER has entertainment and BMI hits them up for $900 plus? So much for that show. Thanks. Anyone clear on the law here?

My guess is that they have a jukebox and never paid the BMI/ASCAP fees.
... and then the wheel fell off.
