uh...

the great thing about satirical comedy is that nobody takes you seriously... i don't care that pervez musharraf has been on the daily show or not... if you sit in jon stewart's couch... you're not taken seriously...

I'll agree with that. Or behind the desk for that matter.

Did you see the episode of the Colbert Report with Bill O' Reilly? Absolutely brilliant!

Stephen Colbert is so much better than Jon Stewart ... that show swap he did with O'Reily was awesome...

I just wish Steve Carrell would do a satirical news show like this... now that... would be funny

Didn't Carrell and Colbert both get their start on the Jon Stewart show? You are right, both are much funnier than Stewart.

The Daily Show was much better with Craig Kilbourne(sp?). Strangely though, I like the Late Late Show better with Craig Ferguson. Go figure.

Jon Stewart really isn't all that funny... Craig Killbourne killed it when he had the desk... but Stewart sells tickets because of his "alignment" with Adam Sandler... and the "Frat Pack" of comedy...

Im just glad he didn't get Leno's job and Conan O'Brien .. who is by far and away the BEST late nite host out there... will be the next host when Leno is gone

Conan O'Brian? I think he's the best out there too. I used to be a big Letterman fan. But he just isnt as that funny anymore. I dont know if its because he's getting old or I am. ( or both ) I miss the old NBC Letterman show. With 'Larry Bud'. (RIP Calvin DeForest)

I used to like the Daily show before Jon Stewart turned it into nothing but far left gibberish. He should be making fun of all political views, but it's pretty much all against conservatives and republicans.

Boy, that's kind of ironic. A liberal saying "God bless"...

Yeah, but that's the balance that always exists ... The Daily Show is no different then Rush Limbaugh's show in the 90s, aside from the message being the exact opposite.

I didn't say that. Although they aren't afraid to admit it publicly in fear of offending a non-believer.

When someone sneezes, I say "Bless you". I'm usually thanked by persons wearing clothing of the type of a different "Religion". I find it's "good Christians" who will act like they didn't hear me. Just because someone isn't a Christian doesn't make them a "non-believer".

Apparently we're talking about two different things.

Apparently. With the recent fuss when it was suggested that other religions also have their holidays/religion be recognized during the Holiday/Christmas season, no, I didn't believe you meant atheists were offended, at all.

Rob, come to think of it, my bad...I recall the many Spiritual discussions we've had. :) You're a person with a deep, abiding Faith who isn't afraid to admit it.
