Why do you have to come in and fuckin leave a stupid comment and bash people on every thread. If you aren't interested in something leave it alone. If you don't like someones direction of music, leave it alone, who cares. Not everyone can be as well versed in all walks of life than you. It gets old real quick.

Post by CredoSpeek »

Can you say anger management? Relax mr. Bass I'm all smooth and you seem all ridgid, I want no beef with you only to be heard and understood, I know your number I see people like you everyday and they make me sad, I will pray for you sir.

I'm athiest, praying to your god will do no good for me. As for knowing my number, son, let me put it to you this way... You know nothing about me, and know nothing about how I am. As for seeing people like me every day, haha, well, i'm one of a kind. You on the other hand, are a typically conceided little boy with some wicked superiority complex. Are you even a musician? If so, i feel bad for the people in any crowd that you play to. They probably can't see the rest of the band with a head the size of yours in the way. Take a breath and calm down, you are no better than me or anyone else in this forum even with your "schooling".

We hear ya, and we understand that you are just here to be a dick. That's fine with us though, as you will be kicked off of here very soon if you keep it up. Anyways, why don't you tell us who you are? Trolls never tell.

Ok ok . Las Vegas music man , I am who I am, I have done nothing more than have an opinion but because it differs from yours and some others on this forum I am an idiot, I also have seen some support from some of your peers, ( bassist25 and Blain) I have read some of their posts and they seem to have similar opinions perhaps that's why they aren't thretaened by me, kicked off? am I then to assume that if someone on this forum doesn't agree with the majority J.P. amd Ron eliminate them? They don't seem like that kind of folk.

Now Bassist : as a famous man once said ... some things are real wether you believe them or not, my God loves all and would try till your dying day to protect you. am not a little boy I have been around the playground for a long eyear my friend and as far as am I a musician? well 85% of what is discuss on this forum has NOTHING to do with music so it seems like an irrelevant question. But if you have to know I have been in a few bands in my day and everyone seemed to enjoy my company.

to use a phrase keith used on me: wtf is your problem. your political and religious views are certinally welcome here on rockpage. nobody is saying they aren't and i don't think ron or jp would kick you off for speaking your beliefs. i'm sure they wouldn't. i think maybe its how you have acted like a total dick to eveydody on here from the get-go. you seem to be nothing more than a big fuckin loudmoth c-unt. i personally don't give a fuck of your views but you are welcome to express them on here. why don't you try to be cool. ahh i know why, they don't teach cool at ohio state. you might get kicked off of here for being a dickhead though.

i bet you quite a few share in your beliefs and your thoughts on things on here, if you chill out you could have some good conversation. hell i don't totally disagree with all you said . ijust think your going about it the wrong way.

what is all this "i got your number" shit.
you keep saying about peace and love and praying and then you attack someone your a fucking hypocrit(sp)

you say you want to be heard and understood. i hear ya but i just don't understand ya.

i'm done wasting my time with you till you learn some manners. i remember getting on here my first time after just checking it out for a while i would have never dreamed of acting out in such a way. what exactly are you trying to prove anyway?

It's not that you have a different opinion, it's that you obviously are a dick. It has nothing to do with opinion. Being a dick to Joe is not an opinion. There is a difference, but you may not understand that. You see, when you have an opinion, you state what you believe whatever that may be. Usually you have a reason to back up your beliefs and all that. When you just outright call someone an uncalled name, for no reason at all and proceed to be an asshole, that's not opinion. Do you see the difference?

Here's another thing about support if you don't know. I have support from probably 99% of the people on here. You see, we are a community. We don't always agree, we don't always get along, and we don't always have the same views. In the end, we all know each other and we are cool with each other. It's easy to find a few "supporters" off the bat, but you need to show us that you are here to be a member of the rockpage communtiy, not to be a asshole and a troll. Just pointing a few things out for ya.

As for what you believe to be a reality, thats not my concern or my business.

You are right about the angle of discussion on this board not being completely toward music, but when people get on here and discuss other things, that is called "communication" and is something that you are disrupting within this community. By being an asshole you are pissing off the majority of this community. Yes, we get on here and fight every now and then, but in the end we are all the same, and all work towards the same goal. You, on the other hand are a new guy coming in here and being a piece of shit to everyone that you talk to, and you will probably be banned from the board within a few days because you can not work within this community (or probably any other community for that matter).

My topic was hijacked but does anyone else have an opinion on this dvd series? Does anyone remember the Midnight Special show?

I wish the Don Kirchner's Rock Concerts would become available. I do remember some great preformances and great bands.

Mr Bonsell I met you once and you seemed like a cry baby then as well,

" Oh I can't be in bars they are too smoky" blah blah... Dude you do what you do and I will do the same, as far as a community yeah ok... the community that I live in allows me to say what I want and they don't want to break my windows when I'm not looking. Relax Vegas Pro and all will be fine. And for you to call me a dick is wrong, you don't know me so you couldn't know that, don't always believe what you read or assume to understand what you think you know.

Yea I am a cry baby, you got me. It sounds to me like you are jealous. And I don't live in Vegas, so you apparently got me mixed up with someone else. Why don't you tell us who you are? Are you afraid?

How would knowing me help you? from reading your posts you don't wanna know me? I am not worthy of knowing you, I might be Gay or what else Rob Jewish, Black, Liberal ? You seem to have a lot of requirements and restriction about who you will tolerate. Why is such a busy musician home on the computer New Years Eve?

What now I'm a nazi racist? You're quick to judge my friend. You obviously know absolutely nothing about me. Anyways, answer to your question: I'm in a Hotel room with my laptop watchin football and chilling. It's only hmm...7:00 right now. I gotta start playin at 9:30 tonight. I just think you are scared to reveal yourself. I have no problems with you, I haven't had the opportunity to trade words with as asshole for quite some time.

Time to figure out who the troll is. Let's profile, shall we?
We know:
Claims to be a musician. Very opinionated, so that may be the case.
Knows last names of both UCJoe and RobDrummer. He's local.
College grad, Ohio State and Duke.
Claims to be a Christian. Very judgemental, so that may be the case.
Shows sour grapes toward the "Vegas Pro" signalling "gig envy."
Displays spelling and grammar mistakes that suggest the mind works quicker than the typing hands.
Attacks online but won't reveal identity. Classic passive/aggressive behavior displayed by ineffective males. Definitely doesn't wear the pants in his domicile.
Doesn't know/ignores fact that many of us can simply trace his IP address.
Clearly male. Women are much better this type of thing.

So, now we triangulate, and when you figure out his identity, PM me, and we'll go from there. Cheers!----->JMS

OK Joe, back on track here... as a youngster, I used to stay up to watch both Midnight Special and Don Kirshner's Rock Concert. I can only remember one of the Midnight Special performances, and that was by Kiss. On the other hand, I remember a bunch of the Don Kirshner shows such as Uriah Heep, ufo, REO, and the NY Dolls show absolutely blew me away.

I remember Midnight Special and Don Kirshner's Rock Concert as well. I can't remember all the concerts I used to see on these shows, but there were some great ones (Kansas on the Kirshner series I remember pretty well).

Does anybody remember Twiggy's Jukebox? This used to be a syndicated British show in the late 70's hosted by fashion model Twiggy. She'd feature several British bands and artists performing live on each show; I remember seeing bands like Slade, BeBop Deluxe, Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Sweet, Chris Spedding, David Bowie and more. WOR-TV in New York used to show it late on Friday nights (back when they were carried on Altoona cable).

Yeah, I remember The Midnight Special...watched it when I could as a kid - loved it - classic stuff. Thanks Mom, for letting me stay up & watch it. Thinking about it takes me back to that innocent time. I wanna go back, & do it all over, but I can't go back, I know. But today, I probably wouldn't buy the DVD set because I really only like a few of the artists featured. Besides, I have so many music DVD's & CD's right now that I could start my own library, or it seems like it anyway.
I've drank enough beer to float a battleship! Go ahead and Rock & Roll all night if you can but don't party every day!
