Bringing back the dead!

Post by sPiKe »

I recently decided to overhaul an old guitar (Ibanez rg 470) of mine that has been sitting in its case for over 5 years now. It still has its stock pickups installed.

So, my question is......What pickup combo do all you guitarists think I should try?

I am currently using seymour duncan combos with a screamin demon at the bridge on both my Schector guitars. I love the tone in both positions. However, I am wanting to try somthing with just a little more low end without loosing warmth and clarity in both the neck and bridge positions with the Ibanez.

I am leaning toward one of these 3 combos:

1. Tone Zone for both positions
2. Tone zone (Bridge) and Air Norton (neck)
3.*** screamin demon (bridge) sh-1 '59 model (neck)***

any input would be greatly appreciated.

Much respect,

Chris
