This Girl Rocks-Paganini piece on classical guitar.

I'm in love. Check out this girl, Li Jie, doing Paganini's Caprice #24 on classical. It may take a minute to load, but it's worth it. She pulls out a bunch of masterful techniques, all the while looking like she might fall asleep!

Wow....

Ya know what's funny - 99% of us, if that girl came up to us and asked to play our guitar, would either dismiss her or say something like "Do you know how to play?" HA! Uhh.. .yeah. A little.....

Did she hit even one sour note? Maybe a couple that weren't perfectly clean, but nothing that was "wrong" from what I heard.

How long do you think it took her to get that down like that. JeeZUSS! Awesome...........

And what a beautiful piece. There's a run of arpeggio's about 4 minutes or so in, that really speaks, although the pizzicato seemed like the chart said, " Okay now play that last part again, but stick your thumb in it." Okay, it probably said that in Italian. Still, she played it beautifully. See, this is why I stick with George Jones songs. One of my onstage lines lately is, "...ignore that sucking sound you hear, that's just me playing guitar."--------->JMS

If i recall this was floating around awhile back (I don't know if on this board) and someone was saying she was really young (obviously) but I guess she's actually older than she looks (if what the other board said is true).

The Asains have some insane musicians. Mostly because when they devote themselves to something, they go in 140%.
