Democrats want to stop tax breaks to companies that outsource. Why are Republicans protecting outsourcing companies ?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/09/2 ... 41970.html

That's one source, there are many.
Well, I don't believe everything the Huffington Post says as they are a liberal site. The recent donation from Soros really makes me not trust them.

As for stopping the Dems with wanting to stop tax brakes to companies who outsource, I agree with that because it plays in the same filed as them wanting to kill tax brakes for all companies. Their main agenda is to tax the businesses out of businesses, not let them prosper. I don't agree with all the outsourcing, but the Dems taxing them is just another way for them to strangle them to a point a where they won't be able to operate and make us more dependendant on foreign countries for goods and services.

The tax breaks will allow companies to prosper and allow companies to hire more people. Look at the reports; one of the main reasons why Unemployment is so high is because of companies stating that they will not hire as long as Obama is President and these tax hikes, and Healthcare hikes, are in place. Lower the taxes, keep the cuts in play, and you will see them hire again - Which in turn will make the unemployment rate go down, and will also make Obama look like a good guy for a change.

Hell, if Obama would announce today that he was going to go with tax breaks, I would support him on it. As long as he keeps strangling the companies to a point where they can't breath, I will not support him. Then that would be against his agenda to do that ..
You confuse me here. He only wants to take tax breaks away from companies who outsource our jobs to other countries. How will that make us more dependant on foreign countries for goods and services ?

He wants to give breaks and incentives to companies IN the USA. How will that make us more dependant on foreign goods and services?

It's simple. If a country wants to take away jobs from Americans and send those jobs off shore, their tax breaks end ?

What tax hikes are in place ? I have not heard of any hikes ? Enlighten me please.

Bush gave everyone tax breaks. Where are all the jobs he created ? China!

As I said, there are many sources for the same info. Try "tax breaks for companies sending jobs overseas" and yopu will find a plethora of sources.

Here is a direct quote from Obama.
"There is no reason why our tax code should actively reward them for creating jobs overseas," Obama said. "Instead, we should be using our tax dollars to reward companies that create jobs and businesses within our borders."

Seems to me Frank, this is a good thing. Why would the Republicans be against it ? Now do you support Obama ?

Frank: "Hell, if Obama would announce today that he is going to go with tax breaks I would support him on it".

Well Frank, he did announce it a few days ago. Although it (rewards) is for companies actually IN the USA. Not for American companies who send American jobs to other countries.

Please comment Frank.

I am against gay marriage and I am against the government legislating laws against sin. Abortion is killing and most republican / conservatives are for the death penalty. When you hypocrites start demanding that mothers who abort be put to death then you will not be hypocrites.

When person 1 hires person 2 to kill person 3, person 1 gets punished the most.

Would you like to see mothers who abort be put to death, jailed for life or jailed for x years ?

I prefer no mother be sent to jail. But the GREAT sin they had done, will be punished by God. What needs to be done is for religious people to create a situation / civilization where people realize abortion is wrong and the norm becomes adoption.

Now, may I get a direct answer from you if I ask a question ? Feel free to ask me anything.
I don't agree with gay marriage, but I do think there should be a "Union" clause where a partner can be added to an individuals benefit package from an employer. That should include health care, retirement, etc.

The only time abortion should be be allowed is if it from rape, incest, or the mothers life is in danger. Before said act can be done, it has to be approved by a court of law. Any other time, it is murder and those who do the act should be tried as such, with getting the maximum penalty that goes with murder; whether it be the death penalty or life in prison. This goes for the mother and any persons involved, including the doctor and any other party that participated in the act.

I am for the death penalty. My only thing is that I don't think you should sit in jail for years before the sentence is carried out - there should be a thirty day limit. And, I feel the person should be executed the same way he/she executed their victims. So, if you run over some one with a bus, guess what you are getting ..
Very well worded and well thought out post ! Does everyone see that we do not need to agree. I respect this post as a frank (no pun intended) opinion from the heart.

The American people today will take a very important step in the process of taking back their government, liberties, and freedom.
I just hope we have the resolve to see it thru. It's not going to be easy, and there very well could be even tougher times ahead.
It took 100 years to get here, but Americans are a resilient people, and we can again be the world leader in freedom!

Let's cheer for Frank and all the tax cuts that gave us that booming economy during the Bush years ! Now we can do them all over again ! MORE tax cuts for companies who outsource our jobs ! Yes !

Except this time the democrats won't be able to save them.

We had a discussion about how to change one law to make a huge difference in our culture. I chose murder. If we were each required to kill someone every day the unemployment would be down in two weeks.

Watcher out cause Boener is liable to use that one! Plus we supply the guns!

And dare I say it now? The 2012 election will show that America does not want whatever is spewing out at that time! At least this way Obama is guaranteed a second term...

We are a fickle race but keep your allegiance raw and hateful so that we don't get together and take back our country!

Um, if we were each required to kill someone every day and everybody accomplished their task, the population would be zero by the end of day 1. Well, maybe a population of one...it might me nice to not have people bugging me all the time, but after a few weeks, it might get boring.

You know, I disagree with many of Obama's policies, but the man is a phenomenal speaker. He is obviously educated and reasonable, but his beliefs collide with many of my own.

Coming to Rockpage always makes me think because I find people who can look at the same set of facts that I do and come to a conclusion that is diametrically opposed to my own. It's amazing to me how a slightly different set of life experiences can so change the way we understand our world.
