Good Stuff! Songsmith- Glad you got a bassist on board. Sounds like a lot of good local new releases in the near future. Hell Yes!

First Side Effects practice in 5 months last night. It was like we never stopped and we wrote a new song, AND that was with our new bass player SUE WALTERS. It was the first time she jammed with us. I don't know how I try to start some sloppy garage punk band with a bunch of drunks and end up being surrounded by very talented musicians? Not that I'm complaining, but it's weird. This band is so fun!!!

That's awesome Sanchez! I look forward to getting drunk next time you guys are on stage, and belting out whatever mating call of whatever animal my drunken mind randomly selects for the night! (Hey, we should do this for my birthday this year... Ha!) Rock on!

NailDriver has been inactive for the better part of the last 9 months,and it's entirely my doing.We finished our record in early fall,although there are a few mixing details i'd like to round out and finish.Then my bassplayingwonderboy Dano headed out west...all the way to Ohio ,and my wife was pregnant.Whew.To Top all that off i pinched a nerve in my neck,which inturn inflamed tendinitis in my left elbow and shoulder and made playing simply impossible.Now the kid's here,my arm is healed and the sweet breeze of spring is blowing around and damn i'm jonesing to play.I'm planning on meeting up with the fellows soon,finishing the record so we can get it into people's hands...oh and finding a bass playing fool to round out the line up.Hell i'd even like to play a show in 09
