you've proven nothing. throughout this entire thread, throughout the last flame war.. throughout every thread you've ever thrown 2 cents into when it comes to anything sociological or political. nothing at all.

you take every point i have proven, and throw it back into the typical neo-con rhetoric, and try to make other people look like the bad guy... i've attacked nobody else in this thread but you, and you make it look like i have thrown nothing but negativity into this entire community, just because I happen to be correct.

that's the absolute truth.

One part of me is tempted to throw the lock on this thread since it appears to be descending into namecalling rather than issue discussion. But I'll give it a chance to get back on track.

In the meantime, memo to Barfight:

The Rules say:

I can't speak for YankeeRose as to whether she approves of her private message being posted here, but for future reference, private messages remain private unless the sender gives his/her permission to make the message public. Thank you.

Gary, what do you have against the music scene, I've just had enough of your bullshit. I can deal with the politics, but going back to whole Green Eggs fisasco. And what is your problem with JP? Like I said, you never have anything remotely purposeful to put out there to be a member of the community. I could care less if you agree with my political beliefs.

And for the record Jim, I've pulled a private message and put it up before.

Probably after we have the half-hour delay installed into the console. Given how political discussions here go, I'll need it!

All I want to know... is when did this become about me and "the scene"?

When did this become me and Jim Price, whom I have had NOTHING negative to say about?

Are you kidding me, with this bullshit, Rob? Where the fuck... aside from the Green Eggs thread have I EVER mentioned the scene? You won't find it... because even in the Green Eggs thread I didn't even mention the scene... it was about T-H-E-M.

You've just had enough of my bullshit? Well what the fuck are you going to do about it? Start up a "GO" thread like the last person who "had enough of my bullshit?" GTFO. You're going to do 2 things... 1) piss and moan about it, and 2) nothing.

as a matter of fact -- I believe I stood up for the scene in a thread in regards to a band forming, and somebody saying "isn't that what HF1 does?"..

If this is the route you want to go, Rob -- then you're clearly reaching to get me banned, because there is NOTHING you can pull up that shows me bashing the "scene".

So the turth anyone

Post by tornandfrayed »

So the truth anyone?

We all love the scene, we are the scene... You guys work your ass's off and love it! You form bands and you meet people and you play music that you love. You play in shitty bars for not much money and you have a blast. Sometimes it sucks but most of the time it does not.

We all love America. I find it hard to believe that anyone really wants a violent war, but wait. No I do believe that some people might want that. Most people do not. Any party you are in don't matter to me. Either way America is what allows you to say stupid shit and get away with it. If you are saying something to piss people off it worked. If you are saying something because you mean it then back it up. If you really mean the Muslim shit I would suggest staying out of bars....

We all are here right now. We are together as a community. What the fuck! We go to the same places. Our kids go to school together, our wives and mistress's hang out together. We go to the same Walmart, the same churches and the same bordello's.

You guys gonna change my mind? Rob you gonna become a tree hugging liberal? Gary you gonna join the "Young Republicans"? What do you guys think? We get Lonewolf to vote democrat? I doubt it but it doesn't matter when it comes down to it.

Hell No!

So what do we have? We have the ability to listen to each other. Shut the fuck up for a minute and listen. I don't want any of you bitches to think like me, that would be screwed. I don't want to think like you guys all the time either. But I do want to listen to you.

I want to hear you because I respect each and everyone one of you (some more then others! Assfuck!!! go figure... )

So I will listen. I won't call anyone names. I won't use derogatory statements to try to piss people off. I will listen and I will try to see others points of view. Those who do not grow and change stay the same.

What if we could all learn from each other? What if we could all grow together? What if we became more then what we are through the relationships we form here?

I know this sounds preachy Paul but I can't get away from who I am. People tell me I am full of shit but I don't care. I am what I am.

I have sat here and watched and I can't do it anymore....

Let's watch and see what we can do......

I had not given Barfight (Gary), permission to post my PM to him, but all's well that ends well. I hadn't been on RP since late Friday/early Saturday, and wasn't too happy when I was told Saturday night of it being posted. I'd discussed a few points in it with someone at the RP Jam on Thursday. I Love my country and support our Military 110%, but it seems if you don't agree with invading Iraq being the correct decision, the Conservative or NeoCon response is to say you're UNPatriotic, the same as the terrorists, etc., which is TOTAL bs. I was a 'Liberty Belle' in 1976, and while I had been fairly Patriotic before then, that year at the age of 13 I REALLY got into the Red, White and Blue big time. I may not agree with what you say, but I would truly defend to the death your right to say it.

Over 4,000 now...I thought there would be mention, somewhere.

Yea, only 4,000 in 5 years. In terms of war, that's really good. It sucks, but war is war.

Hillary voted to go to war.
