Delay/Sampler Reccomendations

I need a sort of delay/sampler to use for some of the things im workin on, but i cant seem to find the right box...

Looking for a small pedal, similar to a regular Boss stomp box or something, which will record at least 20 seconds, then repeat it... Most of the ones i see dont have a permanent delay to them, and eventually fade, or just refuse to record longer then 5 seconds...

It would be nice if it was capable of sampling, then adding onto that sample again...

A freind of mine has a digitech stopbox similar to this, but it doesnt record nearly long enough...

Anyone know of something like this?

I used to have a Boss DD-5 digital delay stomp box. I think that particular one is discontinued, but you can look on ebay. It might be what you are looking for. If I remember correctly it did have a super long repeat on it, but the duration, I'm not too sure about, it has been a few years. Try Harmony Central user reviews on Boss pedals. I know that Boss had about 4 or 5 different 'Digital Delay' boxes.

I'm using an Alesis Microverb, and I have a slight delay to fatten up the sound, it's really not enough to notice, but just enough to know it's there. That's a nice rackmount unit for cheap. Try Music 123 for that one, that's where I got mine. There's a shit load of different effects. I'd look into that one, just for the 'All in One' factor. I think it ran $150.00, but you can double check that.

The thing my brother and I didn't like about the digitech jam man is the fact that you HAVE to record for at least 3 seconds. My brother uses the Jam Man for his vocal harmonies. With the Boss RC 20, you don't have to. One of my friends uses one of the Line 6 Delay Modeler pedals which has some of the features that you are looking for (delay and looping). I'm happy to say that I just purchased a Boss RC 50 a couple of hours ago. It's like 3 loop pedals in one :twisted: I can't wait to use it. You'll prolly have to check out all the above pedals and decide which one will work best for you. Hope this helps 8)
