I really liked the 'Paraphrase' by Yngwie. That looks like it is hard to play. How long have you been playing? Just wondering, you make it look really easy.

Awe thanks sooo much man :D . It took some work to get it down that good (and some days it sounds better than others lol...) Its not really difficult as far as "Yngwie" goes (of whose music Im particularly obsessed with haha and always learning MORE of hehe). Ive been playing since I was a kid. (Im self taught though so I gotta learn everything "by ear" which can be painstaking ESPECIALLY learning intricate Yngwie arpeggio sections...buts its worth it, at least to me it is) Its just a matter of gettin it down with a metronome slow first and gradually working the tempo up. Yngwie based it on a J.S. Bach piece. I worked out my own "interpretation" of the piece and hope I do it justice. I wanted more of the "chamber orchestra" vibe and the original keyboards are more "synthy" sounding (in my opinion). Check out the original sometime when you are bored. I arranged my version so that it would sound decent by itself OR good as an accompaniment to what the guitar does in the original. I have a mp3 backing of it as well I recorded (for guitarists).

Thanks so much again man!! Paraphrase is one of my most recent Yngwie favorites. Im working on my interpretation of the keys under "Baroque and Roll" and "Air on a theme" (both from the ATTACK!! album) lately.
