One of my favorites was last summer at City Limits. The Opposition opened for us and just slammed! The house was packed, and everyone was having a good time. Then we played City again that fall, and I had an equally awesome time. The HF1 guys showed up, along with some of the peeps in Echo Chamber, Silver Sunday, and other bands.
Another one was the last time we were at Pelly's about a month ago. Everyone on stage was clicking on all 6 cylinders (normally it would be all 8 cylinders, but we had to downsize because of the current gas prices). Plus Jinx showed up, which is always a good time!
If you've noticed, all of my favorite shows are the ones with friends in the house. I think that's why I really enjoy playing in Altoona; there's always going to be someone I'm friends with there. When I'm 45 looking back at this part of my life, that's what I'm truly going to remember.

I'd say any benefit shows are my faves.
It seems that these shows have a bigger focus and the band members are always cool as hell. (Not too many jerkoffs will play a free show)
But really any show that's tight, the people appreciate, and the other bands aren't dicks is a great show to me.

Good point! I haven't really run into that many jerks at benefit gigs, even when there are 6+ bands.DirtySanchez wrote:Not too many jerkoffs will play a free show)
Ironically enough, there was a time a few years ago that we got some attitude from an opening band (won't mention names).
