The Beatles on Larry King Live Tonight 6-26-07
Tonight (Tuesday, June 26th) on Larry King Live, his guests are Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono, and George Harrison's widow
Don't EVER speak of the Beatles and then turn around and associate YOKO ONO as a part of the band!!! She's the whole reason devil women who break up bands are called, "YOKO!!!"

Maybe you could change the name of the thread to, "remaining Beatles, George's widow and the PSYCHO BITCH FROM HELL to appear on Larry King Live" or something like that ...

I was just a kid when they broke up, but being a Beatle fan, I've read/heard a lot of info on the topic of the Beatles' breaking up over the years, including interviews from John, Paul, George and Ringo. Admittedly, it's been a while, but I'm fairly certain from what I recall they said that by the time John met Yoko, they were already seeing the beginning of the end of the Beatles for many reasons, creative differences and ego clashes between Band members being just a few of them...but, then again, they were only in the Band, they couldn't possibly know more than the general public or media.

Well, one thing you can't deny is that John was absolutely in love with her. How many people fall that deeply in love and stay that deeply in love? I'm not trying to defend Yoko. Her pretentious crap wears pretty thin on me. A few months ago, I was watching The Rolling Stones Rock n' Roll Circus. There's a part where John does a blues jam with Eric Clapton, and half way through Yoko gets up on stage and starts doing her signature caterwauling. Sorry, but I just didn't get it, and I'm pretty open about artistic things.
I love McCartney's bass playing, but George was always my favorite Beatle. I always thought that his solo stuff was the most interesting, and my favorite Beatles song (If I Needed Someone) is a George tune.

All this statement proves is that there were two devil women that killed that band instead of one. If you would've stopped at, "She didn't do anything to the band ..." and then put a period there, that would be different.faeriewench wrote:She didn't do anything to the band that Linda didn't do.
So, I'll revise my previous post:

I don't agree with those who think Yoko broke up the band, thats ridiculous. Yoko and John were a great couple I have read, and how many rockstars have a marriage like they had? She must have some good qualities and you guys are being mean.
And why is Linda holding a pot plant?

Spoken like true Yokos ... LOL j/kfaeriewench wrote:She didn't do anything to the band that Linda didn't do. Yoko just got more publicity because she's a little... strange.

But it is ironic that the only posters defending Yoko are female? Hmmmm ....

She really had nothing to do with the breakup other than being the straw that broke the camels back and I cant stand the bitch. They were on their way out long before she came around. But he certainly did love her and I have no idea why but then again John fucked Brian Epstein or vice versa so it just shows he was a little freaky in the bed room.
But Yoko is a bitch smack head, she wouldnt even give Julian any of Johns personal effects other than I think one guitar and a little bit of money. And sure she will talk to Paul and Ringo now as she will release johns stuff with the help of them so she can put money in her pocket and that is the only reason its not for the love of the Beatles as much as it is the love of money.

We got all highed Up and somebody put the car in the Pool!
Ringo was the first to leave the band, but came back. George was the one that hated touring the most and wanted to stop touring. I really believe that John was the artistic and creative "driver" of the band. When you combine John's interest in creativity and experimentation with Paul's over the top ego (he lived for the fans' love of him) the breakup was inevitable. Yoko loved John and John loved Yoko. Yoko didn't break up the Beatles, those four boys were just sick of all of it.
