Who are you to say people can't have religious beliefs and celebrate them?

You are severely misinformed. Nearly every religious scholar (READ NOT FANATIC - more are agnostic than Christian) will tell you that there is proof of the existence of Jesus. Some of the things he's been claimed to do, not so much but there is proof of existence (thank you liberal studies for something... :( ).

And besides, it's one thing to not believe in anything - I won't persecute you for that, especially since I toe the agnostic line. It is another to clearly spam someone's topic. If you have nothing worthwhile to say, don't say anything or at least start a separate thread to just start a flame war.

Just saying the word boobies puts a smile on my face immediately.

I put in at Southern Hunt. High School (well, the iron bridge) and get out at the humpback bridge about 4 hours later. That trip's long enough for my middle-aged ass, and the fishing's pretty good. I have heard that it gets better downstream, but I'm a creature of habit.
I've seen some crazy stuff at Creation, and my brother drove ambulance a few times... it's a steady caravan to the local ER... and all-too-many drug overdoses. Apparently Jesus frowns on women in pants, but jacking meth is doable. Of course, I'm generalizing... how Evangelical Conservative of me! ------->JMS

You'd drag if you tried that this week...its pretty low...I went 2 Sundays ago..put in at Agape...just above the swingin bridge and went to new bridge at Shirley...and got hung up 3 times...and the flies tore me up!!. We need to have a Rockpage Float!...

And I was at the Creation first year when it was Jesus (something year) condoms thru-out the woods, naked chicks, and they asked everyone to throw their drugs in the barrels up front and they hauled off like 3 /55gal. drums!.. (Prob. went to Mt. Union...LOL)... That was a sad day  ... But I know allot didn't end up in the barrels...How else could they see God and speak in tongue???....

Yeah, but add the word "back" to "boobies" and it inspires a whole 'nother response ... that involves puke.

(Is it considered a hijack when the thread is about a Christian music festival and the discussion turns to drugs and jugs?)

I usually try to fish "the ole stumping grounds" a few times a year. But sometimes it just doesn't happen. The "iron bridge" trip was usually really good... Awww, those were the days... Finally the small mouth are strong this year. The last few years it seemed there was a fugus or something. They had sores and were skinky... I've went out one time this year and they seem to be coming back strong...

The Orby-Rockhill, Three Springs and MU ambulance crews get a good work out when creation is in town... I remember when the had 2 "Creations". One was for like everyone and the other was for "the younger crowd"... The bus loads of chicks caravaning thru Orby was awesome!!! Now remember that was 20 years ago. I'm sure things have changed since then, RIGHT?!?!?

I second that sentiment!

No worse than the discussion turning to float fishing!

Then again, the drugs and jugs are at the Christian music festival, and the fishing discussion pertains to how to fish and float around the festival, so technically it's not a hijack...
