Hi everyone,
I'm sure some of you have been wondering where I have been. Well... my job has been crazy for the past few months, and it all came to a head the last couple of weeks.
The work that I do, (software engineering) usually revolves around deadlines, and the most recent project I am working on has been a real chore. It's finally in it's last stages, and the finished module will soon be heading to our QA dept. for testing.
Working with deadlines tends to make things in my life very cyclic. The first months of a new project usually involve a lot of creative fun, such as designing the product and building the initial framework, with little or no pressure. That is followed by months of coding and testing, which is subsequently followed by an initial release phase.
If things aren't going quite right, the end phases of a project can eat up all of my spare time, and build up a LOT of pressure. One of the first things to take a hit, sadly enough, is the amount of time I can spend visiting and working on Rockpage.
Well, now that things have settled down for a while... You should see more of me around the forums (and clubs).
If anyone has had any problems or questions that I have missed or never got around to, please remind me and I'll get to it.
Thanks.
Ron

I'm back, too.
Actually, I just returned from a week of R & R in sunny Florida as of 4 AM Sunday 4/4. I did a lot of writing during the long roadtrip back up I-95, so expect to see some new "Weekend Recaps" in JP's Corner this coming week.
Figures we hit rain the moment we cross the Mason-Dixon back into PA. We saw not a drop of rain outside of PA during our whole trip. Go figure...
