**Attention Drummers**

Post by RobTheDrummer »

Hey there people, We have hit a MINOR roadblock in drum night for this wednesday the 31st. We can't have it this Wednesday because of the Tyrone Musical they are doing this weekend. They are using the entire music suite for rehearsal every night this week. I talked to the Band Director and he said next Wednesday would be a definite yes. This is the only time we won't be able to use it. SO, lets bump it back a week and make it the 7th of April. And I would also like to make it from 5pm-9pm. Please pass the word, I don't want anyone to show up for nothing!! Thanks fellas!

I'll have to switch my acoustic gig back to the way it was but that is no problem at all. Man I found this UNREAL cymbal cleaner at the hardware store. It's called Santeen's chrome r tile concentrated cleaner. My RUDE china looks so good. That stuff ate ALL the brown coloring off as well as the oxidation. The cymbal is SO clean. The best part is it didn't even touch the logos. I just bought a rare 3000 crash off e-bay that had a few green spots and some nasty old fingerprints on it. That cymbal now shines as new with the logos fully intact. I still can't believe it. I also did the same to that Dimensions power crash I have. It is in total mint condition now. You apply the stuff (clear liquid) generously to the cymbal, wipe a little, rinse with water and dry with a towel. Repeat as needed. Now I just have to hit them with furniture polish. I put my V-drums completely back together. I had to totally rebuild a kick trigger from swapped parts but it works perfectly now. Triggers are so easy to build. Roland will even sell you the gold coin looking things you need. All you need besides that is any kind of quarter inch jack with a positive and negative prong to solder wire onto. I can't wait to hang with you guys again. Talk to you all soon. I promise I'll have my full V-drum kit for you to check out Rob.

Rob

Better let Jim Price know. I heard him mention it on Back Yard Rocker. A real nice plug. You might have some people showing up on the thirtyfirst.

I was bummed because I wasn't going to be able to make it (again) this week because of being on the road with my job. This great news for me. Unless "something else" comes up for work, I'll be there!

Floyd and I will be in Florida next week. We'll catch the next one.

Donati is doing a clinic in Ohio on April 13th. Anyone going?

Hey guys, are we all still on for Wednesday at 5:00-9:00? Just wanted to make sure. I just got a new set of hi hats and a ride so I don't need my red colorsound 5 hi hats and ride anymore. I'm taking offers on them.

Cool man, looking forward to a good time. Hey JP, you can come as well if you like, maybe do a write up of what goes on or something. Anyone with an interest in drumming is invited.

I wish I could attend, Rob, but Wednesday is usually my "hell night" at the workplace, and I won't be done til 'round midnight. Hopefully I'll catch a future one...
