Very special thanx to the Pony Lounge.
Very special thanx to the Pony Lounge.
Thanx to the Pony Lounge in the Penn National building on Scalp Avenue in J-town. We broke the attendance record 5 times in that place including last night. The managers are simply the best as well as the staff. Be very careful though if you order mixed drinks. They make them SUPER strong. Thanks to almost 500 people that showed up to see us do our thing. That place pretty much bought me my drums. Thank you! That place RULES.
Attendance record
Attendance record? I would be more concerned about how shitty you sound. Drums, Guitar, hidden vocals and a bunch of toilet paper. Maybe next time you'll get #6.

its pathetic that Punda's very first post on this forum is a very negative one. either you registered just to bust on that band or you have started on the wrong foot, buddy. no one is going to respect you or your posts from now on. don't even bother posting anymore.
The Face in the Face is inside the Head.
I could not believe Punda's post and I felt a dire need to respond. I have a million things to say but I will make an attempt to self edit. I never heard the band and I only met redawg once. But I have respect for him because he loves what he does.
I haven't played for years but I'm in the music business and I still follow the music scene. When I played we decided there are two types of criticism. The first is constructive criticism. It came from honest people who wanted to help and guide us with specific information. the other is hurtful , which is designed to bring someone down. I ( we ) have no respect for people who like to cause pain.
Some musicians judge others by their technical ability. That is only one level. When you are on stage your priority is to ENTERTAIN. While the technical aspect is a part of entertainment ( for some ) it is not the whole.
I followed a band with extraordinary technical ability, doing odd times etc. , and a core following of about twelve people. But they knew if you target an audience you can't be upset if everyone doesn't like it.
I also know a band that keeps things simple, and they draw big crowds. They know other musicians speak negatively about them, but they don't care. There schedule is full.
I have respect for every musician out there working. If someone gives you negative criticism, ignore them. If you get constructive criticism, shake their hand , beacuse they care.
Obviously, if retro is drawing crowds, they're entertaining.

I agree w/everyone! I have seen RetroActive play and my opinion is they are great. They do draw a good crowd. If people have a problem w/ a band then don't go see them and definetly don't go talking #### on them especially when they are thanking a company for having them play at their establishment. Keep opinions to yourself. This band works very hard and every band member tries their hardest and that is all that counts. So for all those RETROACTIVE fans out there lets give them all a huge HHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!! U guys are awesome
