He's sometimes called a Halford clone , but I like his stuff anyway. His first band called Wintersbane rocks too. the album is called 'Heart of a Killer' It's a concept album about a murderer who is sentenced to death, and the judge who sentences him, needs a heart transplant and receives the heart of the murderer, and then transforms into a killer himself.
Tim Owens also sings w/ Iced Earth. He has another band called Beyond Fear thats was released last year.

yeah the king is awesome! He is an upper register that only dogs can hear. fuckin ear piercing. Heavy guitars and nut squeezin lyrics are the best

I used to go to see Ripper in a little dive in Ohio. He had a side project called "U.S. Metal". They were one of the most incredible bands I have ever seen. I have a home video of them.
