Can anyone tell me how to get sponsored for example by Bud,Miller and what the benefits are.
Can't help you out, but interested to find out the same thing.

There are many ways to get sponsors. For example...local sponsors(tattoo places, skate shops, etc.) Those places are easier. Drop off a demo to them and then offer something in return. Tell them that you'll pass out coupons for their shop at every local shows if in return thay give you free merch.(t-shirts with their name on it, discount tattoos for the band, etc).
Major sponsors on the other hand...that gets tricky. You should first research the compnay that you want sponsored by. Then they usually have a set guideline on what they are looking for. For example many alcohol sponsors require that you play out a minimum amount of dates per month. You need to be very professional. It never hurts having a insider who works for a company that could spread the word about your band.
I know that Budweiser has a thing called "True Music". They are always looking for local bands to sponsor. Coors Light has their own thing and so forth. Just hit up all of the alcohol web sites and they should have something posted about sponsoring. Hope that helped.
LOST LEDNY got a GUITAR CENTER sponsor from word of mouth. Someone saw them play, liked them, passed the word to a guy working at GUITAR CENTER, they were looking to sponsor a few bands, a meeting was arranged, GUITAR CENTER also liked what they heard, and a sponsorship was offered. Sometimes things just fall into your lap and other times you have to bust ass to get what you want.
