I had my internet disconnected earlier this month and I just got it back yesterday, only this time I traded in dial-up for DSL. YAY!!!! Anywho, I didn't want to seem like a d*ck to anyone who was messaging me. But I'm back online. I must say it got lonely without you guys . But now I have my daily fix back .

I have cable and get 6 megs so I am not really following the FiOS story.

15 meg downstream and 2 meg upstream - 49.99 a month, it is guaranteed to be at that speed. They have internet service, Television service and Phone Service all going through fiber now. I know people who have and they said they can't kill the speed for anything. You can also have a home server hooked up to it, so, if you want to have your own personal web server; file server; game server or ftp server you can.

Last week I was talking to a guy who works for verizon, locally. He was telling me that State College is supposed to be breaking it next year and it should be in this area by 2009. It is still too long to wait. Either way you look at it though; it will put the cable company out of business. So, say good bye to ConCrap ...

People still use AOL so I doubt it will put Comcast out because generally people resist change, even if it is better (general public - non tech heads I mean).

It will be cool as hell though I'm sure Armagh will never see it.
