Unwritten Rockpage Rules

OK... After reading various "pet peeves" posts over the last month or so, it dawned on me that certain things should or should not be done on a forum such as this. Call these "The Unwritten Rules of Rockpage General Forum." I myself know that I have committed some of these Sins, such as ending posts with "Cheers!" (What exactly was I thinking anyway? I'm not f'ing british! Definately a reason for a hard slap in the face with a rotten herring.)

I also have posted the notorious Thank You post after a gig... of which I'm sure nobody at all cared.

So I pose the question: What else should be added to this list of Do's and Don'ts?

Personally, I would like to see a few less YouTube posts. Thank you for alerting me of funny videos, but dammit, I have dial-up! It's frustrating enough as it is, don't rub my prehistoric, behind-the-times face in it. I'm sure I will get a few bitch-fits pitched at me for this one, but this has been something which has been brought up before, so I know I'm not alone.

One rule should be, don't call G'R and VH "Heavy Metal". It shows how stupid you are.
Another rule: if you threaten to leave the RP community, do it. Don't be like those bands that do a 'finale tour' which you know is never the case. That's just pathetic.

I think that written rules are bad enough, do whatever you want.
If what you're doing pisses somebody off, tell them to deal with it.
People in general who complain are a bunch of pussies and will do what you tell them, so in the long run you don't have to change anyways.
Change what you want to change and that's it.
Life is bigger than someones sig line on Rockpage right?
If you don't think so, seek help, or hang yourself immediately.

They can't quit, They're addicted to the drama which is mostly started by themselves. Emotionally retarded is what they are. Control your emotions, I know High School was tough, and a lot of people picked on you, but it's over now and you can be a big boy or girl.

I don't mind the YouTube links so much, but a description would be nice so you know what to expect. It's like "mystery meat" at the school cafeteria. If you don't know what it is, it's not going in your mouth.

Another Rockpage rule should be not putting a smiley at the end of every paragraph. It's like masturbation. I know everybody else is annoyed by it, but I can't stop doing it.
