Acoustic Fusion
Dwane and Matt from Acid Reflux team up with John and Kenny and Acoustic Fusion is formed. This is a one time gig to check out, so don't miss it!! For details, check out the Upcoming shows section..... This one of the main reasons I love this forum. A solid and stable connection between musicians of the area.

That's a night we are definitely looking forward to as well. Is anyone going to be playing conga/percussion? I have a set of congas to use. Also, how are we going run everything? Plugging in, etc....

I just walked in the door from Shooters and what an awsome night!! Dwane and Matt were two of the coolest and most down to earth people you'd want to meet and Kenny and I had a blast, as well as a pleasure, jamming with them. Imagine walking into a gig really not knowing what songs that other band plays and doing a 3 hour show with only one break. (We sorta got caught up in the playing) The personality and humor, as well as incredible talent, those two brought with them was just what we needed to bring the night over the top. For those who haven't seen them yet, they do "Real American Hero's" commercials and a two man human drum loop, which RULES!!! Throughout the night, we had no idea what to expect from them, as well them to us and it worked out great. There was only one song that was sorta shaky on our end, but it still turned out decent. At the end of the night we were discussing about possibly doing this again on one of the days we both have off.
On Sunday, March 14th, check out the special acoustic jam on Q-94's Backyard Rocker. Not only will Acid Reflux, Kenny, and myself, but you'll also be hearing Steve Summerhill, Rock & Rye, Rick Wertz, and Rockpage's one & only Songsmith.
If the jam that happens that night is anything like it was tonight, you do NOT want to miss it. The jam on the Backyard Rocker starts @ 8pm, so tune in and soak up some off the cuff acoustic magic.

I almost forgot, we'd all like to thank DMFJ03 for sitting in on bass and vox for an acoustic version of Jimmy Eats World "The Middle." It's really cool to hear that one done acoustic.

Congratulations to my buds from Acid Reflux on what sounds like a fun jamming night...sorry I missed it, but I'll be there tonight at Rubines in Altoona (shameless plug) which is always a fun gig. Looking forward to seeing you play with John & Kenny sometime, I have never seen those guys. Happy birthday Matt, I owe you a XXXMolson!
Yes - Yes!
Shame on all of you who didn't make it to Shooters last night!! I wish myself and Esa could have made it there sooner, but it was a blast! I had a real good time listening to the four of them jam, and as songsmith put it "it smoked!"
Thanks to the guys for also letting me come up and jam with them for an acoustic version of Jimmy Eat World. That was awesome.
Esa and I both had a wonderful time last evening and hope to see it again sometime. If they do decide to do this shindig again - all of you that missed it had better not miss it twice!
Bravo gentlemen, bravo.
