Outstanding Video @ the Hurricanes Rock....Troops

The Hurricanes kicked off the "Rock For The Troops" in Altoona last night. We couldn't stop them (nor did we want to). They played until nearly 2:30 AM !

The Canes show was video taped from beginning to end. Kevin and JP did interviews with nearly everyone there. So we have about 80 minutes of Hurricane fans wishing the troops their best wishes and prayers !

JP handled on stage announcing. Kevin and Mike handled camera duties.

great show last night. we all had a blast. the canes were great. all great guys and excellent musicians. nice to have met yankee rose, she seemed to have a good time dancing it up and also nice to meet ramrod1. special thanks to getclosertothemusic for helping me out with camera duties. JP, thanks for everything, you were great. ramrod1 sat in with the hurricanes and lent some hormonizing vocals on one tune. toonarockguy sat in on drums for a couple numbers. nice to have met you all in person, we'll do it again soon. thanks all who came out. c-ya soon

I forgot to thank Ed from get closer to the music. Ed was the one who brought the beads and the red white and blue lays (spelling) that were handed out last night. He also handled camera duties and made himself available for spelling off anyone who needed help. And he brought GCTTM T-shirts to hand out. Thanks Ed.

It is the selfless acts of individuals who volunteer their time that makes this venture so much fun !

I have to confirm everything with Adam. They already said they wanted to do a RFTT show. But likely the next RFTT show will be with Vs The Earth at 4Ds. An official announcement will come as soon as I call him.

We're also in contact with several bands and scheduling just needs to be worked out.

maybe rob would want to do a RFTT gig in reno? and when the reno police get back from miami they could help out. we could maybe send you the banners and you could do a RFTT gig out there or ..................maybe not just an idea maybe it would work.
