Though, when it comes right down to it, there's such a complex legal web being woven here, considering custody of child, paternity of child (and the long line of wouldbe fathers), custody of body, pending estate disbursement, etc., that it can't not be covered.

The reality is, she was famous and, whether you liked her or not, this situation is news.

Face it, Rob, you helped keep this thread up on page one ...

That's what she said.

This shit should be court tv stuff. It's not news. We know she's dead, so why do I care about what the family does with her?

it's news only because 95 percent of the population of the bible belt, and the deep south pan constantly over celebrity status and the lives of such almost to obsessive levels... since they represent the majority... it's news.

it's called personal experience, and in some cases it's better than documented opinion that you can pull up on the internet.

I've been to every state in the US Southeast and I've met people in every single state and town I went through or stopped in... and in every state or town I stopped in, Ive seen people walking from the general store back towards their home, and they're carrying The National Enquirer, Weekly World News, every tabloid known to man... but you know what they DON'T have... their local publication? It's everywhere down there man... and don't say this is just "Closed Mindedness" about the South... I've been to the Southeast roughly 10 times for more than a weekend at a time and it's been everytime... most things people say about the South are 100 percent accurate.. those people are just different...

it's nothing bad on them... it's just how they are..

that's where i get my info

it's the same for Reality TV or anything Celebrity based...

I guarantee you.. if you pulled demographics and locations of people who watched "Survivor", "Jerry Springer", or any show that scopes into the lives of people who are under the microscope.. you'll see that the largest demographic... live below the Mason-Dixon line...
