No, MAN made heroin. Heroin does not occur in in any form in nature, it has to be manufactured. Meat isn't addicting and a deadly drug, or illegal.

So what's your point?

And while you're thinking about that one, I'll be eating a 16oz. Porterhouse, medium rare, with A-1 Steak Sauce, and raising a glass to the cow that made it all possible. Yummy.

Whoaaa...back up the dumb truck. No god made heroin. Man made heroin out of natural poppies.

Cows have existed for a long long time, for only one purpose. Food and shelter. Thats it. If people stop eating them, what are going to do with all of them? Adopt them from the Humane Society?

i don't wish to argue over samantics. let's enjoy what God gave us, but not hide behind him. why give pain give kindness and empathy. treat others and animals as you would like to be treated. PETA may go overboard but they do a lot of stuff right too.

anyway lets talk RNR! that's about giving . about pleasure

I bet you do nothing unhealthy do you?
We are carnivorous by nature.
Go tell a fucking wolf he shouldn't eat a sheep.
Sitting and staring at your monitor while typing retarded posts is also bad for your health as well.
You could get carpal tunnel, carrots won't give you carpal tunnel.
So quit typing stupid posts and eat a carrot.

Besides I'll decide what I want to do.
If all the meat eaters keep eating meat maybe they'll all die soon and the fucking hippes can have a big spinach and carrot party with the cows and pigs and bunnies. Whatever!

Hi Sanchez. We are not "canivores" if anything we are omnivores. But the anthro's are debating still what proportion meat played in our early subsistence. There still lots of questions and as you can imagine hard to tell what someone ate 50 mil years ago

Who wants to eat like a cave man anyway? Come to think of it I guess we do eat like one because today we eat whatever we can get our hands on without consideration of the harmful health effects, just like the cave man did. Would you like to spersize that? is this a good way to eat?

We need to get back to a healthy diet of frits, vegetables and beans. Meat, if eaten at all, should be a side dish not the main course.

It's a great way to eat! For only 40¢ more, you get an ass load of extra fries and a bucket of soda. Rock on!!
HaRd AtTacK wrote:Who wants to eat like a cave man anyway?
Me. Meat ... good ...

Give it up. You're not convincing anyone of anything. You eat your shrubbery, we'll continue to slab off and fry up large hunks of cow ass. Mmmm ... cow ass ...

*raises hand* Me. All this stuff about health and crap is just that. Crap. Think about it.

Go back 75 years. Our ancestors even mere generations ago didn't wear seatbelts, ate what they wanted to, smoked cigars, pipes, and cigarettes, and engaged in (estimate*) 60% of the same behavior that we exhibit now. They survived pretty well. Remember riding in the back of that pickup truck when you were a kid? The point is, that past generations managed to be healthy and live long, prosperous lives without all the safety warnings and health restrictions that we have now. So why are we sweating the bullshit?

Eat meat. Lots of it. Rare. Because you only live once. And if I am destined to die of a massive coronary, I'm gonna go out with a smile on my face, a rare slab of cow ass in front of me, and (most likely), a slab of Pizza Hut Pan Crust Meat Lover's in my mouth.

(* = I estimated/guesstimated 60% of current behaviors, based on changes in day-to-day life and recreational habits. At any rate, it ain't scientific. Just deal with it.)

I do think that moderation in everything is the best tactic. You can't say that 'eating meat' is bad....that is so vague and not considering many variables. Heart Attack, you said....
Heart disease is #1 cause of premature death! News flash: You don't get *IT* from eating too many carrots and spinach!

Well, I hate to minimize the importance of diet in preventing diseases, but the truth is obesity (which a vegetarian can easily be as overweight as a meat-eater due to eating too much sweets, cheese and many 'vegetarian' foods, like whole grains, beans and rice, these are NOT low-calorie) is caused as much by inactivity as diet. Many times, an even bigger cause of heart disease is heredity, not diet. I know many VERY healthy eaters who struggle with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc. Of course, a change in diet is always the best first step because why not fix a medical problem in a natural way if you can. The meds for those conditions are hard on the body and some people's conditions improve quite well with diet. With others it has NO effect. I do agree with this suggestion you made because it goes with my whole moderation principle
Meat, if eaten at all, should be a side dish not the main course.
We do eat too much meat in this country, in fact too much food, period, not enough exercise.
We are carnivorous by nature
That is simply not true. People just say that, it is not correct.

Oh really? Kevin, that is simply not true....between 1980 and 1998, the world's average life expectancy at birth rose from 61 to 67 years. The increase was even larger in this country when comparing, lets say the 20s, 30s, 40s to now, due to medicines and better food and health knowledge and decisions.
OK, I'm done now...sorry. And I agree that PETA can take things a little too far but so can you sloppy meat-eaters. Hey, thats a good band name!

This Thread reminds me of that Rev Horton Heat song the beef industry used in it's commercials. "Eat steak eat steak eat a big old steer, eat steak eat steak do we have one here? Eat beef, eat beef it's a mighty good food, it's a grade-A meal when I'm in the MOOOOd!!!"

I'd rather stop masturbating than give up steak.

That's probably the most intelligent post on this thread...

Something else that might be said in regards to the "eating like a caveman" stuff, I've always wondered if it might be healthier to go back to hunting and gathering. I doubt that I could do it, though. Anyway, another issue here is the fact that we have increased the cow population since domesticating them, and those fuckers have four stomaches or something. So, they release a whole shitload of methane, which isn't very good for the environment. Not sure on the stats, but I'm pretty sure that slaughterhouses contribute more to the global warming problem than automobiles. Could be wrong about that. We talked about this kind of stuff in an Ocean Science class that I took a few summers ago.

Oh, and I'm not too familiar with PETA, and I didn't watch the video, but I'm assuming that it's about them putting dogs and cats to sleep or whatever. Yeah, that pretty much makes them hypocrites, I guess.

You have got to be joking.
You people actually think we were not meant to eat meat?
If your ancestors did not eat meat your stupid ass would not even be here. They hunted to feed their families. Who exactly are the "they" in "they just say that"? Do you feel that now that we do not have to eat meat to live that we should not? Guess what, you can get an STD from having sex so don't fuck unless you're doing it to procreate because you could die. As a matter of fact don't have sex at all cuz if you do reproduce
your kid might grow up to be a serial killer or a meat eater. Listen I don't get too serious on here, because most everybody on this site are great people personally, But turn into tough guys, philosophers, and some may even get the illusion they're making a difference once they start typing. Just don't act like your all worried about whats best for mankind, just say you don't want to slaughter a poor defenseless animal. I can deal with the fact that you're oversensitive, hell you can cry on my shoulder when we watch Bambi, just don't use a false front
to sway peoples feelings, because that just makes you look like a dildo.
