Dog fashion Disco played their last show in January too.
I think me liking bands curses them or something.

Yeah, they sound a little like Overkill. Kenny said P.C. opened for 'Kill a few times.

Ive been listening to the 'End Of The Sun' songs....thats just cause im happy to have them up finally. ;)
I gave 'Machine Head's' new album a bit of a listen, and i didnt like it. Their style has completely changed, and im not digging it.
Some 'Satyricon' is great for stripped down black metal. Speaking of black metal, 'Dimmu Borgir' has a NEW album coming in april. uh oh!!!!!!! GET READY for some killer black metal.
Other stuff ive been jamming to include 'Carcass' , 'Rammstein' & SRV.

I usually get loaded up on new CD's when I attend the Millennium Music Conference, and I received a ton of them this year.

So far this week, I've been listening to Nabil Khemir's CD (who I mentioned on another thread, a mix of Mediterranean and jazz sounds), and a CD from a band out of the Harrisburg area called A Utopian Skyline. They're very interesting; their CD, Elmamoore, offers modern prog-geared rock, with lots of complex Rush- and Dream Theater-like technical arrangements and tempo shifts, ambient passages, and interesting tangents. If you're into the more technical and progressive side of the rock spectrum, it's definitely worth checking out.

VENTGtr, you've got great taste! Badfinger was just way too good to be put on a shelf & forgotten. Carry On Till Tomorrow!

Right now, I have a weave of Bob Dylan's Modern Times and Led Zep's IV (with a couple songs by Broken Social Scene and Okkervil River to fill in the gaps) playing. Just in case you are confused as to what I mean by "weave," I mean that the play list basically goes DYLAN-ZEP-DYLAN-ZEP, etc.

listening to? right now? GREAT WHITE! save all your love! save all your love for me!!

I wake in the night, to find you on my mind.Deep in a dream, you always have,'Til the end of time. I look in your eyes, that touch my soul,
My love is not to hide.I'm never alone when we're apart,I feel you by my side. And here in my heart, where no one else ever be.I know who you are, so lock the door, and throw away the key.Save all your love, save your love, for me.When I'm alone at night, you're all...I see... I wake from a dream, and see you by my side. How could I belong to someone else, when holding you feels so right!!

GREAT WHITE roxxz!
