DUA welcomes new guitarist
To my best knowledge, the age is 18 to be able to perform in a liquor-licensed establishment. Youths can be 16 to buss tables and wash dishes in establishments, but to perform on a stage, they must be 18...with legal-age adult guardian present, of course.

In the Halestorm situation referred to earlier, Halestorm had to stop playing in bars when the PLCB was tipped off (by a jealous rival band manager, allegedly) that Arejay was 16. They had to play out of state or use a substitute drummer in state until he turned 18. (I think Arejay turns 20 in April.)
Otherwise, congratulations Rory! I look forward to seeing you onstage soon!

If I remember correctly Gary, We (EOA) also played The Pirates Den in New Jersey which was also a bar and we were under 18 with the exception to Welsh, and it was alright as long as we didn't drink....
And since I've been with Your Dying Wish I've played nothing but bars and im only 19, Zinger's in Dallastown, The Wheelie Bar in York, Katie's Place in Johnstown, and Aldo's to name a few, and they don't give me a rough time as long as I don't drink, and/or stay at a table where they can keep their eye on me. (kinda sucks but its still cool getting to be in a bar and not even hafta be 21
