hahaha, justfuckingkidding. No, i do not like Boy George. Most 80's music kills me. Mostly the pop/new wave crap. Pet Shop Boys? give me a break!!!
I like SOME non-metal music done in the 80's, but i like alot of metal done in the 80's. Not hair metal either....REAL metal. Not that theres anything wrong with hair metal. just not my thing.
I even like some jazz and classical music.

I think this is a good career move for Terry. He is such an amazing drummer, and at the same time he is virtually unknown (some will disagree). He will get a tremendous amount of exposure and the opportunity to build an entirely new fan base. Good for him!

I've been a fan of Bozzio since he was in Zappa.
It's just strange to me that joined Korn. He is on a way higher level musically. I think he may end up carrying this album.
I know he is a studio whore so I'm sure he got paid big cheeze for this gig.

"Wall of Sound" syndrome. Just a constant low end hum from beginning to end. It was so unbearable that myself and the three other people I went with gave up our pretty good floor spots for an area beyond the soundman area. It was just too much. And you can't fault the Jordan Center as a venue either in this case because Disturbed was crystal clear and audible throughout their set. I fault terrible sound crew and terrible musicians for that night. Just showed me that Disturbed should open for noone.

Kind of sounds like most of the sound guys in the altoona area LOL except ZILLY {ZILLY IS THE KING OF PRODUCING A GREAT LIVE SHOW]
MY point is i dunno know if anyone else hears it but goto the 4d's or Pelly's and listen to the bands all i hear is Bass and more Bass and muffled guitars and vocals....Dont these bands hear this and know they are ripping themselves off 400-500 bucks for crappy sound I always wanted to say something about this......If you want good sound (i dunno if he still does it) HIRE BROWNBAG PRODUCTIONS [toona rock guy will back me up]

Zilly is definetely the man. I've always enjoyed working with him, and he can literally make a three piece band sound like a five piece band.

Good call about Ritchie. I don't know if he still runs sound often or not. He has a very fat mix--or is it phat? I guess that I'm just not hip enough to use purposeful mispellings. One of the best bass tones I've ever heard locally came from him mixing Flight19 at the Helping Hands for Hastings Benefit that we threw a few years ago. Of course, Seanson's a great player, so that had a lot to do with it, but it was so great to hear his playing displayed with a great bass mix. It was just this fat P-bass tone that I can't get out of my head. It had a huge bottom, but every note was still defined. If I played a Precision, that's how I'd want it to sound!

I agree with Paul that Ritchie does a good job, but wanted to note that
Tom (Flight 19) I believe ran the soundmix for our part of the show at the benefit (Ritchie, I believe let Tom run for us at our request) and Tom always does a great mixing job for us! There are alot of good soundmen out there, you just have to find the right one for your band (especially one who is familiar with your song selection, equipment, etc.). This helps out a great deal when mixing. Unfortunately for alot of bands, they have to deal with different soundcrews frequently due to not having their own system. ($$$$) is always a factor in this equation. If you can find a good one (soundman) keep him/her and use them as much as possible! I know we are lucky to have Tom and Bob as our crew, and having our own system is great because we always know what we are working with.
