I can't believe they asked Prince to do the half time show after the whole Janet Jackson fiasco. From what I remember Prince's tv performances were always a few items of clothing away from being full on orgies. Of course things may changed now that he is all religious and what not.

Rob, are you serious when you say that prince was never that mainstream? You have got to be joking right? Please tell me you're just on a fishing expedition for debate. Purple rain was not exactly underground scene material. Hell, they made a movie dude, 80's pop culture= Prince and Miami Vice. Next your gonna say that MC5 got too much exposure and was chart topping pop rock.
