HUDSON, Fla. (AP) — Scott “Bam Bam” Bigelow, the tattooed heavyweight professional TV wrestler who wrestled with Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant, was found dead in his home Friday. He was 45.
Bigelow’s flame-tattooed scalp and 6-foot-2, 400-pound frame made him recognizable in and out of the ring during his two decades as a sports entertainer. He retired in 2004.
I actually came across that news over the weekend on somebody's Myspace page (they put up a R.I.P. to Bam Bam), but it slipped my mind and I forgot to try to look it up for a confirmation.
It seems like those legendary old-school WWF names are dropping like flies any more!
They had a thing at the beginning of Raw last night about it. I figured he either retired, or wasn't with them anymore; otherwise they would have had a big memorial for him.
