Its GLAM ROCK all over again. Its the same as Poison wearing mascera. Just twenty years later, with a different twist. Its not my thing, but to each their own.

Dont worry the 90's will be back again soon. All the kids will be wearing flannel and combat boots.

Lucky Jeans

Post by AceaDiamonds »

Since Levi's are now made in China all I will buy are Lucky Brand Jeans made in the good ole U.S. of A. I was wondering why my Levis kept getting shorter.

Who knows how accurate this is, but I have read that Randy Rhodes used to wear women's jeans. Apparently he was so small (like 108 lbs.) they were the only jeans he could buy that would fit him!

Yeah, I read that before too. He was tiny, but a master at his craft IMO.
FEDUP in girls jeans is sumthin' you'll never see unless we buy ours at LANE BRYANT! :P Someone say stretch jeans!!! We'd still look like 10 pounds of shit in a 5 pound bag.

Here's a pic of the Jap relase QR, you can see how small he was:

Wow, that really could pass for gay porn! I have no idea what they were thinking. Some asshole publicist probably thought it was awesome. Thank the gods that the thrash movement happened to metal, so it was cool to just wear old jeans & a dirty t-shirt. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be comfortable with being asked to appear on anything even remotely similar to the aformentioned cover for QR. As far as Randy's mastery of the instrument, well that goes w/o saying. I've been listening to "Blizzard" & "Diary" for over 20 years now, and I am still continually finding litte bits that blow me away.

Unfortunately, it doesn't stop with bands.

I see dudes in chick jeans everyday and it's a bit disturbing.

What do you think Corporal Clinger would have to say about it?

Gimme a pair, I'll try 'em on, WTF!!?? I'm a small guy & it's hard to find a good pair of jeans that fit just right anyway. Women wear men's clothes all the time. I really don't see a problem with it especially in the music business. It's okay to be different than "Joe Jock" down the street or any other person. Think I'm full of shit? Ask Alice Cooper!

One of my old drummers used to wear girls jeans. They were still too big for him or something. He had to cut a notch further in the wasteband for the button to go through.
